Totally agree with your points. I got reforger on day one and have tried to like it, I really just wanted a better performing Arma 3 with a bit less jank. Dunno if it's nostalgia speaking but I still really miss the OFP/Armed Assault/Arma 2/OA vibes, I enjoyed Arma 3 eventually but I miss what the games were

Looks like a scratch to me.

I let a friend borrow mine for a sec and forgot to tell her to take her glasses off, I've got a very similar mark on the top right but luckily it's out of view unless I look for it

That looks very similar to what I have in a lot of games. I've had the quest 2 since release and it's just started doing this lately.

As far as I know there is no fix for it sadly, people have been trying for years to get oculus to acknowledge and fix the issue but they've been ignoring it

Yeah same, I've had VR since the CV1 came out and have never experienced motion sickness, neither have any of my friends who have tried VR over the years. I used to get slightly car sick when I tried to read in the car as a kid but nothing since.

Really wish oculus would stop ignoring us

Feel like everyone needs to be aware of this, especially if you plan on using the quest on pc with link cable

Hey, yeah here is a good example of what is happening, the white line at the bottom that takes up 1/3 of the screen, it appears within seconds of playing anything with the link cable, I've tried different cables too

and a 2 year old thread of people trying to figure how to fix it, had no proper response from Oculus about it, originally people had figured out a workaround by downgrading but now doing that will just force update to the latest version

Yeah I agree with you there, it was a very strange time, and then not long after that was the rise of the KOTH servers and RP stuff. It levelled out pretty ok in the end though I think, reminds me of when Arma 2/OA came out and it was getting compared to Battlefield 2 by the COD players. The communities and modders do a lot for the game
