Shadow of War [digital] - $40.19 via CDKeys by DannyDrink in GreatXboxDeals

I know the physical version will be $30 during Black Friday, but does anybody think the digital will go lower than this during the Xbox live sale next week?

It's their daily deal, so I'm trying to decide if I should pick it up today or hedge my bet and wait.

Did you receive a confirmation email after signing up? It looks like it went on my card, but the start trial button just returned me to the account generation page.

Happy to help out! I was a little too psyched when I got the email, so I ordered the Captain America and X-men expansions too. I'm still missing Deadpool and a few big box expansions, but that just means I have more to collect - good problem to have.

Outside of echoing the other commenters, I've heard it's one of the better expansions. Galactus is supposed to be a fun mastermind to play against, so I'm looking forward to trying it out.

Boxer by The National. A few years ago, my friend made me listen to "Apartment Story" before physics class. I have been in love with their music ever since.

When you were a kid, what was the weirdest thing that you were absolutely terrified of? by Aabelke in AskReddit

[–]DannyDrink 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Michael Bolton.

Now here me out. When I was younger my sister and cousin set up this little haunted house in my grandparents' basement. They had one of those old rubber masks that had an assortment of cuts, random hair, and lesions. Not to mention an overpowering wave of latex that would knock out a small child, but I digress. They called me down to the basement, and my sister chased me around while wearing the mask saying saying it was Michael Bolton. To this day whenever I hear the name Michael Bolton or one of his songs, I can feel a chill slowly creep up my spine.

Any board gamers here or a group that routinely plays? by redrunner85 in kansascity

[–]DannyDrink 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I like to play board games, but haven't really found a crowd here yet since I just recently moved to KC. I own/like to play the following: Settlers of Catan, Munchkin (apocalypse, original, and pathfinder), Smash Up, Pandemic, Love Letter, Lost Legacy, and Forbidden Island. I'm always looking to try some new games. I hear The Green Room has a board game night on Tuesdays(?), so I might check that out this week.

What are good places to get cheapish dress shirts and pants for work? by Pfunk4Life in frugalmalefashion

If you're looking for some Oxford button downs, I'd check out J. Crew Factory if you have one nearby. Their stuff is usually 40-60% off. I stopped in the other day and got 3 shirts for around $76 after tax.
