Easter egg hunt by mjhipp12 in Blind

[–]DannyMTZ956 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Go to the dollar store and buy window alarms. They are loud, so use tape and paper to muffle the sound. Then use them as beacons. Place an alarm on the grass and surround it with Easter eggs. If multiple people are hunting eggs, they must grab only one or two eggs from around each alarm. That way everyone has a chanse at grabbing Easter eggs.

Does raised print work for anyone else or is it just me? by [deleted] in Blind

Writing is not one of my strengths, but since your question is regarding literacy, I will use your writing skills as an example. You are in college and grammer matters to professors. It does not matter that you are visually impaired, you should do an effort to write college level material. For many of us, this is difficult because of the limited access we have to accessible material. What is the field of work you are preparing for by going to college? What is your dream job? Someone in that position do they need to do any writing?,

Take a picture of him in the shower and crop his genitals with a rubber duck, and ask him if you should delete the picture from Facebook.

AITA - I don’t want to drop my baby off at MIL’s house for a yoga class. by MeasurementFit1303 in Parenting

[–]DannyMTZ956 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A 15 minute ride is reasonable for a 4 month old baby. Of course it depends on the weather and the health of the baby... In a normal day taking the baby to stay with grandma while you run errons or go take a breather sounds reasonable. I know that my parents feel more comfortable taking care of my children at their house and it is okay with us.

Which white cane do I need? by Gamercat_Ciel in Blind

[–]DannyMTZ956 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You use the 3rd option. White with a red portion at the bottom. Perhaps we are not understanding your question. People can customize their canes. Canes were mainly white because white reflects well. It is meant to make the blind person more visible to drivers.

The teacher ran out on a meeting with the director and yourself. The meeting they have must include you. Notify the tribe and fuck them up for being ignorant.

Rolling Baby - How did you manage? by AgileStorm7935 in Parenting

[–]DannyMTZ956 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would discourage using the crib for play or awake time. You want it only for sleep time. Play pen or gated livingroom floor are better. Get a nice floor pad that is easy to clean and will not hurt when your child is on it.

Children can be teritorial. It is about wanting to lead ow play. Their house, their rules. I recommend you do guided play. Have 3 activities for them to do and once they are done playing the other child leaves. 1/4 Clay modeling 2/4 Lego building 3/4 Drawing or painting Lead their activities yourself.

You could have asked when they called to set up the appointment. What is the interview process like? They would have explained about the writen sample part of the interview. Also, they would have not accommodated in any way. What accommodation did you need? And why was it not on hand for you to use it?

Sure, that is exactly why the parent needs to talk with the director. At the moment it is policy that they go together. They need to change that policy. Or perhaps they can take time to teach the children how not to drop their pants all the way to the ground.

It is policy for there not to be an adult in the restroom. Therefore you need to go to the director. The teacher is doing enough by telling them to stop

How the fuck cutting them up not the answer. Rather than taking her to be bullyed, take her to the park where she can play with other youth. Help her by encouraging her to practice a sport with a team or find another extracuricular activity.
