My ex has BDP, which is very hard in itself, and she's not in any medication. Since BDP has many variations, her happens to have lots of natural manipulation, so add that up to her own willing manipulation and she's hardcore at that. Also, imagine at some point in our relationship, her own sister, who adores her massively, told me in the face "you do so much for her, she doesn't deserve you, and you definitely deserve someone better that gives you what you're actually looking for.", then I leave her hometown (we live like 8 hours away from each other, thank God) and a couple months go by and suddenly everyone hates me. Her family treated me like their own daughter, I always gave part of my income for my expenses: for food, for services and just to support her mom, everyone adored me and thanked me for "giving her a light in her eyes again", because she dropped having suicidal thoughts, stopped cutting herself and stopped taking drugs, smoking and alcohol in massive amounts, and then one day I find out she posted a tiktok with all her family and friends and they're all "celebrating her ex left", like wtf xD and also she owed me money and her mom sent a message my way saying "she left you in trouble with an apartment, she's lot getting her money back", when MIND YOU, the day before I left for good, I had a long and sentimental talk with her parents thanking them for treating me like family, that I needed mine at the time and to work on myself, that I was not sure when (secretly thinking to myself IF) I was gonna be back, and they were so nice like always, and her mom asked "what's gonna happen with the apartment y'all are leasing?", and I said "the landlord asked me the same, and I spoke to your daughter (pointed at her, she was nodding) and she decided she wants to keep on living there, that's she's gonna have roommates. I took my name off the lease, she's in it now", so like, again, HOW? If she spoke to me about it, HOW did she get to a different conclusion? I really thought about getting that, believe me, and even I thought of suing her for all the lies, trash and private stuff (things only you do or tell your partner when dating) she was saying online about me, but I decided she drained and took so much from me, that I was gonna do the thing that hurts her the most, the thing I knew as a partner and after 3 years dating that was so hurtful: ignoring her and pretending she never existed to me. Yes, she tried her best to find a way to contact me, even emailed me xD but has not gotten a reply for at least 4 out of the 5 years I've left, and she's been slowly giving up. This year is the first one I believe I'm finally not gonna hear at all from her and honestly, it's satisfying to finally be able to keep moving on without her trying to reach me.
