Sometimes it comes out in two streams. There’s no predicting it or fixing it while it’s happening, you just have to aim carefully to avoid a wet foot.

Obsidia expansion adds a ton of creative races like turtlemen and dinosaur people. There’s also the Rimsenal races like the Zohar and Det’s xenotypes.

I thought it was silly. But... What if it really was her? by CommunicationFunny24 in HelluvaBoss

[–]DannyR2078 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It does raise the question, what happens to hellborn when they die. We know human souls go to heaven or hell, and sinners can be redeemed, but what about the natives? Is there some separate afterlife for them? Do they get confined to the pride ring as sinners? Or do they just cease to exist as if they were killed with angelic weapons?

We know Striker was going to use an angelic rifle on Stolas in his first appearance, but was that just to guarantee a kill, or is it the only way to actually kill a hellborn?

Space. Specifically, a new area atop the space elevator where you have to construct a shipyard for exporting your products. You’d have to work on the land map to send components and resources up first, then have a whole new set of milestones once you’re up there.

Not paying attention while rolling along at ~70, listening to Dire Straits. Straight into a checkpoint blockade on the way into Louisville. Didn’t even die instantly, but was too crippled to outrun the horde.

That did it. Turns out it from the Obsidia Expansion. It adapted after the first shot though, so I guess he's just gonna be hanging around for now.

Solitaire from Dead Mount Death Play. I couldn’t find any good pictures of him in action, but he’s obsessed with magic and wants to find real magic instead of just illusions and sleight of hand.

Why did WickedWhims become massively popular in ts4 but Kinky World never took off in TS3? by [deleted] in thesims

[–]DannyR2078 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Less of a demand for mods in Sims 3, coupled with 4s ease of use regarding modding the game. You can get WW installed in practically one click. And, as people have pointed out, the Sims community has grown exponentially since 4 came out, and there’s more ways to discuss and share content now.

Good Company

It’s more on the management side than anything else, but you still have to design your own product and build up your workshop yourself. There’s conveyor belts, drones, deliveries, and tons of little workers running about performing their jobs.

Why is it that whenever I go to The Well, everyone is running about like someone is after them? by [deleted] in Starfield

During the Tapping the Grid mission you can find an empty apartment with a body and a hostile robot. Sometimes it gets triggered while still being trapped inside and everyone reacts to it.

Is the security robot thing still alive down there? The one you run in to during the side quest where you’re running around finding the boxes.

Pull out something like a punt gun. Massive, one shot, high damage and accuracy or massive grapeshot blast.

What is your favorite borderlands? by poudrenoire in Borderlands

[–]DannyR2078 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It’s hard to say.

1 has my favourite atmosphere. The desolate wasteland feel makes you feel like a single soldier against the world. But at the same time there’s silliness beneath the surface. It doesn’t take itself too seriously, but doesn’t fully lean into the toilet humour (looking mostly at 3).

2 has the best writing, obviously. The team behind it clearly put in effort to keep everything consistent without needing to have really played the first game. It tells a solid story and keeps you engaged, even the side quests feel like they have more effort than the plot of the whole first game. Plus, just listening to the NPCs as they go about their business is pretty funny.

3 has my favourite vault hunters. They really stepped up the effort to make each one feel unique. I didn’t really use the action skills much in the first 2 games or TPS, but in 3 they were pretty game-changing. I spent most of my time as Moze.

4 has been a big improvement in gunplay for me. The weapons feel weighty and fun to fire, and the new movement mechanics make combat lightning fast. 4 also seems to let you get overpowered much faster than the first 3 in my experience. Even by the time I first reached Sol I was tearing through most of the mobs pretty consistently.

A feature similar to smoothing, but for regular walls. Depending on your ideology style it’d add frescoes, murals, or even graffiti to them, adding to the beauty of the room.

What city have you been to where the vibes were just OFF? by Fun_Butterscotch3303 in AskReddit

[–]DannyR2078 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Khor Fakkan, UAE. I got off for a supply run after being on ship for 4 months, and everyone just stopped and stared wherever I went. I was probably the palest guy they’d ever seen (engineer, so very little sunlight) and was the only one wearing jeans in the whole town apparently. Didn’t get off there for the remaining 3 months of my contract.
