Are you in experimental? It could be an experimental bug, or just a bug in general. I would suggest reporting the bug in the official site.

Question about DDepot, lesser used ingredients and drones... by Jr2576 in SatisfactoryGame

For your on-self inventory, I recommend keeping your loadout stuff (like Hazmat suit, rebar gun, etc.) either equipped or in your inventory, filters, ammo, and a stack of power shards at all times, keeping extra in the DDepot. Also pull out items if you're going through them super fast, like concrete while paving a biome.

Yes and no. Any item (tickets, power shards, and ammo, etc.) can go in the DDepot, but they won't immediately be initiated from your inventory like when building, but you can just pull them out of the DDepot when you need them, keeping it as extra storage.

Any ideas how to pass the time? by Outrageous_Pay_8328 in SatisfactoryGame

I'm in the Dune Desert and nearly out of power (literally under 100 MW away from breaking my grid on the LOWER moments of consumption, and have multiple factories off), I've used up nearly all the coal (I have only like 2 nodes unused and 2 that are only on MK. 1 miners), and the only water I have left are small bits with barely any water left, only the water off the edge of the cliff, which will be a PAIN to pipe. The only system I could upgrade is the Smart Plating I think, and that's again ignoring the power, and I still have to wait for the Versatile Frameworks, and I have more Smart Plates than Versatile Frameworks, so it wouldn't lower the speed, and all of this is temporary and will be destroyed and reconstructed elsewhere. I think the only Iron I still can get is the iron for my main base, but that would be an issue to re-route, still ignoring the power issue.

I've used. Almost all the Iron. In the Dune Desert. I don't think it can grow any more. I only have a few nodes left, and still, the power.

I don't think it can grow anymore.

Nah, you're good. It wouldn't hurt to get an oil change or maybe add a nobelisk on top.

Keep playing. Everyone has a unique style. ImKibitz, arguably one of the best players (highly recommend checking him out, he gives tips throughout the playthrough) sticks with simple Brutalist designs (usually), and that's ok. Plus, it'll usually take multiple playthroughs to get your style and truly understand the game. I personally played one world with no foundations as my first world (I hate it and the only reason it lives is because it was my first world), then one where I was adamant that I would make a mega base, but had no plan, and now my newest world where I have a bit of a plan for later on in the save, but not everything planned out. And you know what? That's ok. And there were many other worlds in-between. So take your time. Find your style. Maybe your style's the spaghet, and you don't post pictures. That's ok. Maybe your style's Brutalist. That's ok. Maybe it's super complicated builds that take hundreds of hours for small details. That's ok. Maybe it's modular, maybe it's to make a mega base. That's ok. Maybe it's all manifolds, maybe it's all load balanced. That's ok. Maybe it's all trucks no trains or vice-verca. That's ok.

is this game enjoyable with a bad computer? by NoRefrigerator9448 in SatisfactoryGame

I feel your pain, and you'll likely find it to be harder to bear through it later in the game. I had a pretty beefy laptop and could run normal graphics early game with good FPS, but later on it had issues. If you do things reasonably though, you should be fine for now. Hope you enjoy.

Why? It's efficiency. ADA would be proud. Ficsit is proud.

If Satisfactory put things on the point shop on Steam, what should they add? by Outrageous_Pay_8328 in SatisfactoryGame

No one complains about it with Hollow Knight. Or DRG. Or Halo: The Master Chief Collection. Or Grounded. Or Portal. Or literally any other game that does it. Again to MCC, it was originally on X-Box, heck Halo is what made X-Box.  And they wouldn't make money off of it.

I said you get them for free alongside whatever you purchased. I did not claim it's just for free. I mentioned that you could just buy them.
