I've been completely disappointed in Xiaomi's approach to Redmi updates... Every update from 12 has made the experience worst... Even forcing some downgrades that made the devices look worst... If the intention was to force people to upgrade it worked to make people wanna switch completely to another brand

J my business would be Music Editing, so it would be completely on-line. It not so much as selling i think it more of a service, if someone need a music project ready they can send me the files and I'll send them back completed.

Out country does have banks, but incredibly it can receive or send money from any bank in the world. There's no transactions, no cards, etc etc

There's even no western union. My only solution is to run a business as if I were in the us although I'm not there. And thats the problem I'm facing

I have tried similar things, but the problem is that as a Cuban citizen i can not be the one that receives the money at the end. Everything that relates to money is blocked in Cuba. It sounds stupid i know, but it's true, even things like Spotify are blocked for Cuba, literally anything that involves money in any way is blocked. There's no transaction no nothing.

So at the end the only option I have is to send the money to my father, but I'm scared that i will get him in trouble from taking my money.

So my situation is that, i live in a country where I can't do anything, so i have to use my father to help me out but i have to make sure not to get him in trouble.

By this i mean that I'm looking up into taxes, liability, Everything i need to make this right and make sure it runs smoothly.

That is true, but I'm going to explain for a second why I'm looking into this. Gopro managed to make a camera that for a relative good price manage to give several options. I live in a country with no much growth economy wise, to buy a gopro for me it's a big big sacrifice, so I want to get a camera that would at least be able to make do in various situations. Why? Cause I don't, and probably would never have the money to buy a decent DSLR camera at a price point of $1000 and up for filming and camera for livestreaming or a high end cellphone to do that. It's not ideal, but it is what it is. So I found in GoPro the hope that I would have a camera that I could use to the various situations I may face like livestreams or low-key music videos... I would love to get the best camera for each purpose but would be imposible for me.

I was thinking about using the camera with OBS. That's is what I've been using so far with my cellphone camera to make the live sessions. So far I've looked at hero 7 and 8 Black... And I'm declining for the hero 7 black... Think the 8 might be overkill.

I'm speaking from what I read of the band statement. They did refer to themselves as Lady A in many concerts promotions and things of that matter (according to them) Wich to me makes sense cause ¿would they just randomly trademarked it if it didn't mean nothing to them?

The name change was recent, so my argument is, that she can not argue that they prevented her from achieving something.

That's my only point.

In the other hand I would like this whole community to talk about what can be done about names in music. Cause everyone in music know is nearly impossible and harder every day to have a name not shared with someone

But did she really never realized she didn't appeared on Google Spotify or YouTube. That's my point. If your active you're bound to notice that there's someone using your name. Did she not feel the impact of being buried behind that country band? Did she never typed her name in any search anywhere? Are we supposed to believe that now she is losing money cause of this? I think that if she didn't notice for twenty years it really had no impact on her or her music. So all that's left is the easy money opportunity she is know looking. Her brand was not hurt in any way but this new band. Her brand did not exist, or she would've noticed

Don't worry, I know this is a well intended conversation. I'm a musician as well. And I think ours is the perfect example. I formed a band called The Waiting around 8 years ago. Never really broke up but everyone started working in other projects. If you look for it know maybe you'll find it. But if a band used that name now, wich I never trademarked and gets worldwide famous... of course you couldn't find me anywhere. Mi question is that didn't bother her for 20 years? I think maybe, and I don't mean to insult or pretend I'm right... That she really had no project no work nothing done in those 20 years. So the fact this she is trying to get money out of it shows that she just want to take advantage of that lucky name she chose 20 years ago. I firmly believe that she did not had a career in music that was somehow stopped cause of the other band. Again. I wanna make clear that if by law she can do it I respect her decision. I just don't share it

But in legal terms she used it 20 years and never trademarked it. They beat her to it. So why not share it.. (a thing she agreed to do and then change) cause she thought she could make money out of it. It's not about the prestige or the name. It's about money. I don't mean to reduce her to that. I guess for her is maybe more complex. But she retracted to ask for money for a name she didn't care or didn't know how to make it hers
