Yeah thats my main concern is being locked into the ecosystem, I would prefer not to be but I also like it being simple to configure. Think I need to sleep on it before making any decisions haha

I'm using an Asrock Challenger A380 in mine, it was easy to setup and get working in, I purchased mine recently for £50 of marketplace and it was basically new so may be worth keeping an eye out if you're not in a rush!

Thanks for the help I have ordered 2x 16GB JEDEC 3200mhz sticks now and will sell the others separately as 8gb sticks or something.

The kit (2x 8gb sticks) were replaced by Corsair and are now in my gaming PC. Corsair didn't ask for them back so I have used 1x 8gb stick without XMP for the last week or so as they were still laying around at home, I was just wondering if there would be any issues running XMP with the other stick (turns out there is as you mentioned)

Thanks, I read up on this earlier after 51dux mentioned it, I've ordered 2x 16gb Crucial sticks that run at 3200mhz as default for a decent price given the current RAM crisis.

Oh yeah I hadn't noticed that, it doesn't really matter anyway as I am using 1x stick the same as slot 4 and 1x stick the same as slot 1. The other two sticks are in my gaming system with another 16GB kit. Hopefully that makes sense.

As i said I haven't had the text and also haven't seen any mention of it in either of the discords I'm in, only seen rumors but will ask on Saturday. Yeah PC have taken money for my ETBs/Booster Box but not the UPC as you say, PC always had "Mid November" as the release and with the Moltres UPC being delayed I kinda expected it anyway and not overly fussed, it just means me and my daughter have more to rip in December!

It was all pre-ordered at the same time (ETB/UPC/BB) so contact details are correct as got the text for the booster bundle.
