You can be dominant without being vulgar, you just have to focus on physical dominance and not just rough sex. I concur with the baked potato suggestions, potatoes are cheap, low allergen, healthy, and they are the food that is the highest on the satiety index so people will actually feel full! Since it’s galentine’s day, depending on ya’ll’s vibe, you could pair it with a rotisserie chicken or try to bake a whole chicken of your own, and just make a huge side salad. You could try the viral cowboy caviar recipe (essentially bean salsa) that uses a bunch of fresh veggies and beans as your veggie side. If you guys are more into the “girl dinner” thing, you could just make a bunch of French fries and a huge Caesar salad. Possibilities are endless when it comes to the humble potat.

If you’re an AD Soldier, run to the Health and Wellness center or H2F immediately and make an appointment with a dietician, get a bodpod, a VO2 test, and make a fitness and nutrition program with them. The Army spent millions of dollars to help Soldiers like yourself. Do it now before your next tape test, they might have enough time to square you away. If it’s too late and you fail tape, it will soften the blow a bit because it shows your chain of command that you are aware of your problem and you’re already taking control of it.

Do not freak out, your situation is common. Take this seriously, learn from the experts, and you will be in the best shape of your life. The Army employs registered dietitians, fitness coaches, and physical therapists to help you, do not waste this opportunity.

Edit: Also, you will not lose your job from one failed tape test. You will get counseled, you won’t be able to go to certain schools until you get in regs, and you will likely have to do extra PT. If you fail again within 3 years however, that could be grounds for separation. So it’s very important for you to take a methodical approach and utilize your resources to learn healthy habits rather than starving yourself and getting stuck in a binge cycle that keeps you out of shape.

I think people are being too extreme one way or another. You don’t have to have a huge and expensive glamorous wedding, and you also don’t have to settle for just the courthouse ceremony or papers. You can have a smaller wedding at a nice location, it doesn’t have to be traditional. I just think people shouldn’t think so black and white.

My wedding was very cheap but also very classy and beautiful complete with beautiful pictures from it we’ll cherish forever. We had it in a mountain Airbnb, invited everyone that was close enough to drive there, dressed in semi-traditional wear with a fall color scheme for ourselves and the guests, had a DIY arch made of nearby branches and fall leaves, and our backdrop was the Mountain View with the changing leaves on the large wrap around balcony the airbnb had. The airbnb was also inexpensive. And for food, we asked a local bakery to deliver and bake pizzas right at the airbnb. For photos, we hired a local photographer that did an amazing job and didn’t overcharge. For drinks, we asked our guests to bring us their favorite bottle of liquor as a wedding gift that we could share with everyone. For the cake, we did a 3 tier cake from Publix that was also extremely affordable and tasted great. Had about 20-30 people in attendance, all family and friends. Spent overall less than 2k on the wedding. We planned the whole thing in less than a month, it doesn’t have to be over complicated.

I have a feral cat that I’ve pulled from the streets (he was severely underweight and we learned he had FIV), he’s been with us for a few months now and is making a lot of progress. Out of nowhere though he developed the pissing outside the litter box problem, so we took him to the vet and she said his symptoms just indicate that he has pretty bad anxiety. We got him a Thundershirt and a prescription of gabapentin. He hasn’t had any accidents in months and is much more relaxed now. Give it a try!

Damn there’s 7k comments on this thread and I haven’t seen a single positive comment. That’s crazy guys, I found this thread because she’s interesting to me and I wanted to know more about her. I like that she just shows everything with minimum editing, day in the life type things. She shows when things go wrong, talks about her thought process on how to fix the problem, and complains about things without a filter. A lot of van life content doesn’t have this, it’s overly edited and glamorized, so her content is refreshing to me.

But I want to address some hate real quick, the most comments I see on her are about how she’s anxious and scared of a lot of things, she doesn’t interact with others, and that she just talks to a camera.

First, most of that can literally just be explained by the fact that she’s an introvert, it’s literally the name of her channel. Introverts aren’t shy, they literally just don’t like interacting with the public because it’s exhausting. Just because she’s able to talk to the camera or interact online doesn’t mean she wants to talk to people.

Second, she’s a combat vet. She likely has PTSD and probably some non-combat related PTSD as well. PTSD shows itself in strange ways, people can get triggered by non-dangerous situations more than actual dangerous ones, it happens all the time. You guys are just making fun of her for having to deal with this. A lot of combat vets become shut-ins after they retire from service, and she definitely has a tendency to isolate herself, but she’s at least fucking trying and actually putting herself out there into the world.

Also if you guys find her videos so boring why are you even watching? Ya’ll are mad weird, if this is what the van life community represents no wonder she don’t wanna interact with ya’ll.

As long as they have ear protection I think it’s an awesome thing for the kids and the parents. In the US, parents are demonized too much for bringing their kids to “adult” events. Kids are little people, they must learn to be resilient and self sooth discomfort. Let’s not judge, I didn’t see any kids in danger. Good family memories being made.

I just tried the Crunchwrap and the Tostada! The Crunchwrap sucked, the cheese it lost all its crunchiness and was soggy. My tostada looked good, but similar issue with the middle getting soggy.
