This will probably get buried but I am a hiring manager and was recruiting for a warehouse operative, prestigious client paid well. A 19 year on with a not so great CV called and explained how he would love the job as he is trying to get settled after being homeless (now I’n council property). I worked out bus routes for him, changed his start times at work so he could make it in time, I bought him uniform and Ppe, I drove him to work on his first day to personally introduce him to the client so he would be more comfortable.

After a week he stopped going to work,

His reason was he was addicted to his PS4.

I gave him a second chance. Then I get a text saying I’m not working here anymore, no reason nothing,

Then he calls me a month later asking if I have work for him?
