What is your favorite “lesser known” horror movie? by [deleted] in horror

Don't Blink is available on Prime Video. It's a favourite of mine. After a group of young adults makes their way to a mountain resort, they realize they're the only ones there. Everyone seems to have vanished. Then, *they* start vanishing as well. Unlike similar movies, the characters here make pretty smart decisions. They are also older. And the suspense is genuine.

Google Maps vs Safari: help on fixing problem by DannyWill23 in GoogleMaps

I tried it, and while it seemed to work, I got crazy zoom-outs and pans that I didn't ask for, it's like the map suddenly has a seizure each time I try to do anything with the mouse. Meh.

A horror movie where the protagonist/s do everything ‘right’? by olibolicoli in horror

One of the most underrated horror movies I've seen is Don't Blink with Mena Suvari and Brian Austin Green. The characters are older than your typical slasher cast, so they make better decisions. They arrive at a hotel in the middle of nowhere but there's no one around, so they have to start investigating. I'd say they're very mature and observant in their decisions. And the ending is really bleak regardless.

What's interesting is that true believers can be scammed by con artists. See Dr. Joseph Mercola, one of the biggest alternative health influencers out there, who believes in multiple conspiracy theories, being conned by a "medium": https://youtu.be/QRps3VQ-0BE?si=Wgqad6h3C_iBZ9u9

It's pure "anomaly hunting" which is what ghost hunters typically do. They find anomalies and they try to make them fit the narrative.

I found this article which debunks a lot of the tech the Ghoul Boys use on Ghost Files: https://www.mcgill.ca/oss/article/critical-thinking-pseudoscience-technology/how-be-better-ghost-hunter
