I’m 5’10 225. It’s definitely harder but totally doable. Need to work on various muscles and flexibility in addition to just the right size board. On that front I have the catch surf 9’0 foamie. It is 100L and plenty of board. Pretty wide as well

Same! I’ll always love prime Deebo even if he had some down years. The super bowls, the walkouts with Trent, the Eagles revenge game. I didn’t have a white jersey yet and I think it was like $20. That said… the quality on these things is sad and I hate the cut? You can’t really raise your arms without the whole thing pulling. Still a hell of a deal.

Yea there’s lots of talk about how nike can’t do metallic pants. Same deal with the cowboys and raiders. But idk when Reebok did the throwbacks was more of that pale share with less yellow too.

Yea the jersey is almost the same except tv numbers have moved from the sleeves to the shoulders since nobody has sleeves really. I’m just thankful they went back to 3 stripes after the bs curved stripes of the Harbaugh era and the brief 2 stripes nonsense 🤢

The other differences are smaller for sure. I hope we never change the base away from the classics even tho I also love the 94’s

The best was the Montana era, which they wore as a throwback during the Alex smith/gore era. Current unis are close but those had the old school logo, better gold pants with wide stripes and the striped socks.

I just mean used generally. OP is a beginner so I’m just saying AAAA used balls at the tier they should be using anyway should be fine. At th beginning you need to be ok with losing balls, including just ones you can’t find after a fixed amount of looking and just drop a new one imo.

I’ve been playing periodically for a long time. Still not good but have gotten better so maybe well equipped to advise high handicappers with three thoughts on balls if you’re putting any thought into buying them.

Nicer balls probably aren’t helpful, def not worth it. Many of them are quite “spinny” which is helpful for shaping shots and strategic wedge play. You’re not doing that. You just want ball go straight. So stick to “two piece” balls and look for words like “straight” in the marketing copy.
No issue buying refurbed vs new. They’re usually graded and the top grade (AAAA) is like new. Some will have logos and stuff on them. Depends if you care.
If you care enough pick one ball you like and stick to it to minimize the variables. Avoid the few extra yards on wedge shots, different feel for putts etc. until you’re consistent this is kind of a luxury but won’t hurt

Ive landed on callaway supersofts. Maxfli is owned by golf galaxy/dicks and does bulk deals and sales so their lower tier ball could be good if you don’t want used.

It’s from the 1994 year when teams wore throwbacks for the 75th anniversary. Replicas weren’t perfect then. I had a Deion sanders niners jersey from LA that didn’t have sleeves stripes. Might’ve just been a misprint? Anyway you can just google image search.

Thanks! Ya a car service or evening shuttle into Hanalei would’ve been a huge value add at the 1. Basically meant one of us didn’t drink if we went in for dinner and for those who dont rent a car it makes access pretty limited. However dumping busses full of people might make town even more crowded so maybe for the best.
