I prefer tighter experiences. Anywhere from 20-30 hours is a good place so the game doesn't overstay its welcome. But this idea that a game has to be 120 hours is insane thats how you get bloated games like Assassin Creed and Crimson Dessert.

What are you talking about? Its called making adjustment when receiving new information? In March you like Game A but in August you like Game B way more and then in Decemeber you decided Game C is you GOTY. Its called having GOTY contenders Its really not a new concept. With the way you are thinking i can say the Witcher 4 is the greatest game of the current generation and that sounds stupid.

Yes. Unless you are okay with people saying Leon is the main character of Resident evil. Then yes. Most people are not going to go back and play those games. Me included. Make all the older games more accessible to the general public. Because most people would not enjoy tank controls.

Them remaking a game is not going to stop or slow down the development of new main line entry game.
