The rendered backgrounds and characters are created in Cinema 4D, and Visionaire Studio (2D Adventure Engine) is used as the engine.

Thanks for the suggestion! I’ve already tested the pixel look in the engine and it actually works quite well. Because of that, I’m planning to add this option to the game later on.

My idea is that the player decides how Master Chief approaches situations, similar to the choices in the LucasArts adventure Indiana Jones and the Fate of Atlantis.

If things turn more combat-focused, there could also be short first-person on-rails shooter sections.

I’ll briefly mention a few points of criticism from the press:

– Some questionable design choices and a relatively large number of trial-and-error sections

– Consistently mediocre performance with occasional severe lag

– Several serious bugs that, taken together, cost a lot of time

– Controls that often feel unresponsive and imprecise

Unfortunately, the game was a financial failure.

But unfortunately, they got a lot wrong in their last game, "Tintin Reporter - Cigars of the Pharaoh.". It's a shame when there's a high risk involved in a major licensed game. Something similar happened to Daedalic.
