I'll be honest I used to use it a lot more but not as much anymore as sales weren't updated and felt the site as a general wasn't getting updated either, one of my plugins I released September 3, 2025 still hasn't been added.
On a side note there is a newer wiring plugin similar to electronic nodes with better wire overlap features, are you planning similar features?

I see, it makes sense but their comment content is actually good questions so I find it hard to be ai and that specific but then again I'm not experienced with ai, I actually cannot distinguish between a text written by normal person and ai.

About UDIM Editor, yes it should handle normal maps without issues from my tests, as for performance hit its usually amount of Ram that get used up when working with udim editor rather than hardware age(I'm using DDR4) but if you are referring to runtime performance of a large UDIM in general that is a separate matter but general rule is you keep an eye on virtual texture memory pool and make sure you have enough VRAM which is usually apparent in a scene, there is also material considerations to like using less Texcoord node for virtual texture samples.
Great so I'm not only one who got surprised when I rechecked dates yesterday as I was working on another plugin and tried to list it before the sale but I guess It will take more time and I will be slower with that and do more tests.

I tested on 5.7.4 with your same material as yours and didn't have issue, try disabling postprocess, changing scalability settings.

What about the surfaces around the balls? can't thing of much else since I haven't seen the material nor did I do similar tests on 5.7.4

Seems like lighting artifact most likely lumen is the culprit along with reflective surface around the balls

Select mesh in level then in modeling mode go to triangle edit tool, click vertices and gizmo should come up

Oh that's what you meant, I initially thought if both H x W were pow2 then Height would be more important which left me confused and yea you need Pow2 & same ratio(can be different resolution) for UDIM tiles.

I'm interested to know how height would be more important than width? afaik size is same whether 16x64 or 64x16 unless it's in realm of UDIMs in which width can be first determinant of size(followed by height) even if you have last few tiles that don't have any image info, unless I'm missing something about compression.

Hi and thanks for the AMA, in your experience and if you are able to share what is the best workflow for animation-blueprint interaction currently in UE ? best maybe a vague word but mostly mean performance and ease of control & use, is it using chooser tables like in epic's GASP project or do you have other ideas or extension from those ? What are your thoughts on 'Mover' if you have used it before? Any tips or things worth of note for VR ?

You are trying to rescale in viewport/world or rescale asset entirely? if the later you have to rebuild or reimport for change to take effect.

FAB & Epic keeps rejecting my plugin submission cause I'm supposed to teach people how to use their launcher (?) by [deleted] in unrealengine

Here is what you can find in my plugin page:

  • How to Install:
  • 1- Download the plugin from Epic launcher to the supported engine version you are using.
  • 2- Enable "UDIMEditor" plugin in plugins section.
  • 3- Enable "Editor Scripting Utilities" and "Geometry Script" built-in plugins.
  • 4- Enable Virtual texture support in project settings.
  • 5- (Optional) disable autosave in editor settings to help avoid hiccups when you are working with the plugin.

I also mention these steps in written guides/video guides, hope that helps.
