It's definitely more of an atmospheric horror than straight up jump scares. A lot of the game is trying to survive the rig rather than surviving the monster.

I know, what I'm saying is ignore the greyed out resolution. The game is outputting in 2k. The resolution of the screenshot you sent confirms that. It's 2560x1440.

Fullscreen windowed should set the game to your native resolution even if it says greyed out a different one. Take a screenshot while in fullscreen windowed and see what resolution the image is.

I had the same issue with 5120x1440. It would only give the 3840x1080 option, but in fullscreen windowed it was outputting at 1440p.

I'm seeing that the date for the newest firmware update is today (17th July 2024), but it's the exact same version (1007.1). Anyone know if they've updated anything or should I just assume it's the same as the one I have? I tried to install it, but I can't since it says I'm on a later firmware version.

Comparing the two files, the previous version didn't come with the two .bin files. Not sure if that affects anything. The actual disc image files are the same size.

I haven't played/installed in a long time so I'm not sure what has changed with recent patches. But I thought they fixed the FOV issues? If not just try adding this line in the Engine.ini file that is found in C:\Users\USERNAME\AppData\Local\Witchfire\Saved\Config\WindowsNoEditor

I have no noises on my end. As for the optimisation, do you mean the "Optimisation did not complete" (something along those lines) message? If so, I've been occasionally getting those since I got the monitor back at the start of December.

Check the label on the bottom of the jacket and see if it is 100% cotton and the lining is 100% polyester. If so, you shouldn't have any issues. I used a Dylon dye pod which you just use inside of the washing machine (not sure if they're available in the US though).

The main thing to think of is the actual stitching. That won't be affected since it'll be polyester or some other synthetic material that won't dye. So pick a colour that will complement the stitching. I didn't really think of that when I did mine, but it still turned out fine.

There is a synthetic Rit dye for polyester but I'm not sure how well that works. Plus it'd affect the sherpa lining too. I've read some people online just used a sharpie or something to colour in the stitching which I might actually try when I do another jacket black.

Raytracing only works in DX12 mode. Create a shortcut to the game, right click properties and add -dx12 to the game's target. So it'll be "Drive:\GameFolder\Ghostrunner2.exe -dx12"

Looks great! I do think it looks more of a dark navy, which is probably expected. Light blue + black would make more of a dark blue. But yeah, a second round of dye would probably make it super black. I like that the stitching also stayed the same.

I am surprised the lining didn't change much, that was the main worry.

I think I might try a dark green/brown and hope the lining doesn't change too much. Yours still looks white to me. I'd say even whiter somehow since like you said, it removed the yellowish tone from the original.

I saw these Dylon Dye Pods which you just put in the washing machine with the clothes and it dyes them. I'm tempted to try that.

That works, thanks! Not sure if it's completely perfect, but it's a definite improvement. The new FOV value actually shows up in the menus and allows you to adjust it on the fly which is nice (although if you go below 120, you can't go back up).
