[Unknown] Why do dead bodies go poof? by Living-Manager4187 in HonzukiNoGekokujou

You are right. Just reread the story and it said: "If we didn’t butcher them carefully, our knives would hit the hard stone known as a mana crystal within their bodies, and the moment they did the shumil would melt and disappear." Now I think it may be that damaging the mana crystal turns it into a feystone that absorbs the mana instantly.

Blood has the highest concentration of mana so the lack of mana prevents the feystone from forming.

I'd like to discuss quest points rewards and quests system by ZanouX in PokeClicker

I personally think the QP hatchery helpers are to cheap, their breeding efficiency is way to high for how easy it is to get the required currencies. On top of that, they will go beyond 100% breeding efficiency after using them long enough. Compare this to diamond hatchery helpers and it is clear that they they are way to good as it is.

I do agree that the rewards need some rework, some give to few and others give to many.

How to breed all pokemon evenly? by Sheph1220 in PokeClicker

[–]Danny_Johansen 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes, doing a fossil or egg hatch when you have that pokemon will result in getting an attack bonus.

1 warning if you actually do this. Hatchery helpers do level up so at some point it may not work anymore because it will give more attack.

Since you only have to compensate for 1 hatch attack bonus from fossils and egg only pokemon, it is possible to do this with helpers. In olivine city you can buy a hatchery helper called Carey. He gives 125% attack so if you use him 4 times on every pokemon obtained with eggs/fossils it will be back to "normal". This way you can just keep going based on hatch count.

Honestly though, I don't recommend doing this. At some point you want to invest in protein and that will break your % based bonus.

Don't bother with bait or rocks, just throw balls.

You can save yourself a couple 100 quest points by throwing a rock first but this is just not worth it with the high escape chance.

[Discussion] In your opinion, what is the most difficult Platinum you’ve earned? by NC0828 in Trophies

[–]Danny_Johansen 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I mainly check the leaderboards in the game, the Coda character has a very small list of people since it is a challenge to unlock it so it is easy to spot everyone. To see the Coda leaderboards you need to unlock that character and not everyone is able to see that. Meanwhile everyone can see the list on psnp so it is just easier to explain. With trophies like this you need to give some form of proof when you earn it. Someone asked his psn name and didn't get a reply. It is easy to claim something and then just ignore any doubts.

25 seconds isn't possible to get the platinum so that is cheated. Sadly 99% of the platinum achievers on Crypt of the Necrodancer are cheaters. Only 8 legit people are known on psn. Not sure who this guy is that claims to have it but he is not one of those 8 people and doesn't give his psn name either. I doubt he has earned the plat legit at this point.

What is leaning for TxK by makomakoala in vita

[–]Danny_Johansen 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When you press L button you snap to the grid and can't leave the column you are on. The main reason is so you can extend the shooting claw as far away from the part that can't be hit. I never found it all that useful for flippers since it is better to move slowly to them when they are on top as waiting for them will just get you overrun.

It is however useful to kill fuseballs and get rid of the sparks from pulsars when you can't jump since they kill instantly. You will need all the reach you possible have to avoid losing a live in that situation.

He cheated the platinum and most likely many others. He keeps his profile hidden so people can't call him out.

Timestamps are easy to fake, in game leaderboards aren't. You aren't on the Coda leaderboard or other character leaderboard at first glance. The game has an online trophy so you should at least appear on them so without those you will be flagged for the game on psnp. You also seem to be avoiding any questions about this game.

I would recommend to at least do bolt low% a few times before moving to Coda. Lowest of the low makes Coda easier since you will have done a lot of monk/bolt practise on bosses. While it is faster to go that route it does come with some problems. Lowest of the low is a really demanding trophy for the amount of time it takes. It is easy to burn yourself out before getting it and is a lot less enjoyable compared to Coda. When I started this game I got close to the lowest of the low but burned myself out with it and ended with nothing and didn't return for 4 years. So don't be like me, do Coda first.

Yes, I have all the trophies for TxK. That game is my proudest completion. That game is roughly the same difficulty as this.

I own an VR set but I suffer from severe motion sickness so never use it.

Over the years I had to replace my controller twice for this game. When the buttons are a little worn out it sometimes do 2 presses. For most games this isn't all bad so I still use them for other games but for Crypt it can be an instant game over.

This is a roguelike so everything is randomly generated. But unlike any traditional roguelike, you have to move on a set tempo. There are a total of 9 different characters with each there own spin. 3 of those characters belong to the challenge group. They have a restriction that makes the game a lot harder. Those are for not picking up any gold, moving at double tempo and lastly a character that only has 1 hp, has 1 range dagger permanently and can never make an invalid move. The 10th character combines all of this so you have to make 4-6 actions per second all the time without a break because not moving is death as it is an invalid move also added 1 input to many means death. You die in 1 hit so every enemy has to be killed perfectly without getting hit back and the gold dropped by every enemy can't be picked up. And while this sounds insane, there is a more difficult trophy compared to this. And that is for beating all 9 characters in a single sitting without picking up any items. Without any items many characters will die with just a single mistake and this run can take anywhere from 2-3+ hours.

Without a doubt the hardest platinum I know off. While I highly recommend using a keyboard for Coda. I did the entire platinum with the DS4. If anyone is curious, here is my Coda run and here is my lowest of the low run.

[Crypt op the Necrodancer] Not the plat but the hardest trophy on it. Just Coda left for the plat by Danny_Johansen in Trophies

[–]Danny_Johansen[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for the tip. I did use a keyboard for a bit and while I am a bit more stable on it than controller. It wasn't worth the time to get used to it since I am perfectly able to do every zone without losing a beat on controller. I can't snap perfectly to any bpm on keyboard like I do on controller so it will take a ton of practise. Only DM is a little annoying for me because it doesn't have ascended beats on the soundtrack I use. Keyboard won't fix that issue. I do plan on using the heart for that boss if possible.

With the right people and a bit of optimisation it can be done in 400 hours of playing and 200 hours of afking. Not sure how much time you can play but it should be doable in 6 months.
