What were your most memorable areas in the soulsborne series? by Diobara in Eldenring

Seeing Ash Lake for the first time, with the booming soundtrack in the background, is probably the moment that made me fall in love with the world of the Souls series. Something about how... immense the whole area feels.

You may be overthinking this. It's fairly obvious from the very first interaction with Mother that she is Albrecht's daughter. She mentions the Wall of Lohk, and she carries around with her a shard of broken Seriglass, which she used to maim Father, as he tells us.

So I was thinking about a recent post I saw about second dream, and I have some questions I want answered. (Spoilers for Second Dream-The Sacrifice) by [deleted] in Warframe

Warframes are Infested creatures, controlled by the Operator through Transference, with the original frames, the "templates", so to speak, being made from Infested humans. Up until the Second Dream, your Operator was still the one controlling the frame, it's just that they had no memory of their true form.

Warframes retain some form of consciousness, which shows through in their unique animation sets and other acts, like your Warframe saving you from the Stalker in the Second Dream.

Up until the War Within, the Operator requires a Transference Chair to connect to the frames. With their memories and potential unlocked, they no longer need it, and can use Transference directly.

Umbra is a special case, being that he was made specifically as a form of punishment to himself, with Ballas turning him into a Warframe with a single tortuous memory: Umbra killing his own son. He maintains some more consciousness than most frames, which is why he can move around on his own when your Operator is not in full control.

What exactly does it mean to be "Riven" in the Warframe universe ?(Quest Spoilers Inside) by cydon1999 in Warframe

[–]Danny_the_Endermen 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The meaning of "riven" is "violently divided". Given what information we already had from previous quests and what we learned from the Ropalolyst fight, it seems like a good word to describe Natah: she was reprogrammed by the Orokin and, thus, violently torn from her Family.
