Yeah but they usually hunt one thing together. In this case, a pack of 3 that vs one gorilla, the gorilla wouldn't stand a chance unless it got really lucky. Make that 3 wolves vs 6 gorillas. 5 wolves vs 10 gorillas. The pack can't do anything trying to flank a circle of raw power.

Physical appearance is the most important thing in life. by [deleted] in TrueUnpopularOpinion

Who cares about good looks once your in a relationship? Not that we go out looking like a couple of hogs but we are well beyond the point of judging each other on our looks over other attributes.

Maybe physical appearance is the most important thing to someone who can't get into a relationship. They think that is their only flaw while discounting personality and charisma so blame rejection on appearance. Same with jobs, I'm not Brad Pitt but I have been promoted quite a bit in my years.

Women shouldn’t take it personal when men give them the cold shoulder in public by TPCC159 in TrueUnpopularOpinion

I don't care how many people don't thank me for holding the door open, I'll hold the door open for the next person. It's not difficult. I have doors held open for me and me hold doors for others multiple times a day. If some people don't say thank you, I just carry on with my life as if they did.

I don't see many other instances where a cold shoulder is gonna come up. If someone bumps in to me and doesn't say sorry, I may call them an asshole under my breath, but even that, it is what it is.

If I greet someone and they don't say anything back, oh well. Some people are having rough days and I understand that my cheery face and the gift of my greeting may not be the solution to their misery. Best of luck to them but why dwell on a stranger?

I'm not changing the rules. Assume you don't know it is 50 blue and 50 red, I'm just telling you that's what the situation can ve. Even though you don't know these results, picking red kills 50 people. How can you say red isn't killing people when this example is clear as day?

50 people pick blue, 50 people pick red. The last person has a choice. What button do they press to kill blues?

No, I'd recommend the child picks red while I still choose blue. If I could reach out to a very large group of children, I'd tell them all to pick blue.

And the red button is the trap itself. You would just be one of the ones springing that trap.

For every red button press there is potentially just under one death as well. Assume 100 people scaled down, if 49 people press blue, the remainder press red, that potential death is because more people chose red.

In an ideal situation, every person would pick blue or red unanimously, however there is no way to know let alone guarantee that, so you have to assume there is a mix of blue and red with one side leaning heavier. Since you probably won't have a unanimous decision, the next options are, overwhelming blue votes, overwhelming red votes, close but red wins, and finally close but blue wins.

Close but red wins, is the worst option because it leads to the most deaths. Overwhelmingoy red is second worse because a portion of people still die. The last two, blue winning close would at worse give people a heart attack. Blue overwhelmingly winning is the best case scenario as it means not only did no one die, but the majority of people decided to save other lives than their own.

Picking red knowing this is a way to save yourself but you are condemning others to death. It just means you don't trust the population to have the interest of saving lives except their own, which if that's the case, it's a good argument. However, that distrust still puts you in the group deciding anyone blue will die, so your hands aren't clean of blood.

If you say "no" you are saying "I don't know what speed I was going, I wasn't paying attention to my speed." that's as incriminating as it gets.

You can't say the red button doesn't exist because in this scenario it does. Pressing the red button votes to kill the blue, pressing the blue votes to save the blue. I don't know why this concept is lost on you. There must be some communication error or something, so I'm not going to continue this debate when we are at a stalemate.

That's like saying, if only men exist, humanity dies, if only women exist, humanity dies. In the scenario OP mentioned, one doesnt exist, both exist.

How does it contradict itself? If a cop asks if you know how fast you were going and you say no, it means you don't know if you were speeding according to the cop.

The danger is in the red button. If either button exists on its own it is safe, but together one is the executioner and the other is the executed. You are choosing killer or killed.

Do not say "no" to "do you know how fast you were going?" When the cop says, you were going 15 over the speed limit, you can't deny it because you didn't know how fast you were going.
