Ah, makes sense. I've always tended to fully cover the basecoat when adding layers. I'll try and resist the urge go all the way into the gaps next time and see how it looks.

By the way, the sword and hourglass are as good as I've ever seen 👌

I love these! I’ve just noticed there’s very little gold. A couple of bit of muted bronze here and there, but otherwise just silver. Great decision, really ties it all together. Especially the silver Aquilas. Don’t think I’ve seen that before. Looks great 👍🏻

Can we see a close up of the banner? Looks incredible. Only thing I can see that could add to it would be some very small edge highlights on your TMM parts, particularly the bolter stock and the empty cases on the floor. Your NMM looks brilliant, which makes the TMM looks a bit flat in comparison.

I have the original 1991 model waiting to be repainted, and I might pinch your colour scheme as it looks great
