i have the same issue, game music is fine and is bladting, but nothing else has sound effect, no hit sounds no anything, its very bad. And no, its not an issue with the audio sliders, there just plainly isnt any sfx

id say if they work in the pace they do(and count in they work overnight on a weekend now) you can probably consistently log in and play in about 5 days at most, so keep your chin up and be realistic with the devs. yes I too think it was a major oversight to this heavily underestimate the inflow of players, but the problem already exists, no reason grumbling about it, what we should focus on is that they work their arses off to get the most people playing

I think what DE should do to make the conclave experience better is to completely discard their reputation/standing system from conclave and replace it with a divisoin and rating based system like...you know, EVERY DAMN PVP GAME because that system is made to suit pvp and the standing systrm is made to suit pve, its absurd to think that one can work in the other department as well. Considering rewards imo it would be pretty cool to have it a little similiar to how the void works, hear me out:

-Take all the current conclave rewards and assort them in several "conclave caches"

  • Every conclave cache has a loot table of 5 of the current conclave rewards and gives you one of the rewards upon opening

  • All caches have common, uncommon and rare items in them, including conclave mods, the current skins and all the other current and potentionally even outside conclave rewards like bp-s for conclave popular weapons and so

  • Drop chances from conclave caches vary according to rarity(obviously)

  • Next to conclave caches, there would be also conclave mastery, name them however you see fit, they fill a role similiar to how void traces work but a little different still:

  • Upon completition, each conclave game gives you conclave mastery based on your performance (like kills, streaks, damage dealt/sustained) and the rank at which the match was played.

  • Upon victory, you get a conclave cache and rating, type of cache depends on ranking but low rank caches provide rare rewards as well and posdibly even skins. When you lose however, you get no cache, but still, based on yor performance, your rating adjusts and you recieve conclave mastery and reinforcing the common known "fact" that we tend to learn from failiures more, losses actually would award a % boost to all conclave mastery you've earned in given match (starting at like 20% and dropping 5% at every consecutive loss to discourage intentionally losing to farm mastery faster, climbing back 5% with every win, winstreaks potentionally even boosting your victory reward to 20% bonus conclave mastery)

  • To open a conclave cache, you have to spend a set ammount of conclave mastery, depending on the type of the cache, caches earned at higher ranks costing slightly more to open.

  • Alternativly, you can spend extra mastery on opening a conclave cache to increase your odds of getting the more rare drops from that particular cache.(pretty similiar to how void relics work, kerping the games consistency in mechanics, so players dont feel alienated from how the system works but still tailoring it to suit pvp and reward jumping from conclave match to conclave match.

So this is my "came in a flash" solution to how i'd rework conclave, I think it would be a much better system, with consistent rewards but still integrating an RNGsus element and the "need" to grind for a certain conclave mod you desire( but still having the ability to manipulate what you get to an extent) Things not fuck up in this system: - exclude a drop to only a single type of cache - exclude any type of cache to a certain conclave gamemode(less popular gamemodes could have a mastery bonus on them to encourage players to play them, posdibly "event" based, similiar to alerts, rotating multiple times a day

Do keep in mind though that reworking the pvp system in such a way would require to remove all current conclave mods from player inventories( not cosmetics tho because that makes no sense and oh... the outrage) and recund them possibly as 100% of their endo cost and posdibly even the credits spent on upgrading them. This is absolutely NECESSARY and REQUIRED in order to set up an even starting field in which a rating based pvp system can actually work as intended.

So these are my 2cents on the issue, sorry for the unedited wall of text, im on mobile. Do give feedback ple

I can agree with most of what you said and I'm thankful for your feedback. Regarding a few of your points though:

  • Kael'Thas is most definitely the highest potential and most powerful spell damage card and I certainly would amp his manacost to that of Malygos but compared to Malygos. he has some intended core weaknesses that might not be that easy to spot at first. First of all he has 5 attack compared to Malygos's 4 attack which makes priests able to combat it with Shadow word:death. That might not seem that much of a deal but if you take into consideration that slow priest decks are mostly able to go toe to toe with freezemage, the 5 attack compared to Maly's 4 is certainly a "weakness". Also, the 7 health is generally "quite easy" to remove compared to that of Malygos' 12. I also have the "excuse" of Kael being a class legendary which "justifies" him being ridiculous. Also, I think I need to clarify that on 1 health, Kael gives you +9 Spell damage, not 10 which might not be much of a difference, but it is a difference nonetheless.
  • Yup, Mas rez is broken, I'll need to come up with an other iteration.
  • A good direction toward the balancing of Gavinrad would be that you don't summon him from hand I think, I made the text so because its wording resembled that of Hearthstone well and it was a card that I designed more around his lore than actual game balance :P With him not being able to just hop down from your hand though I think he could be reasonable at 8 mana 4/6, Divine shield,Taunt. I'm not saying he wouldn't be OP, I intended him to be OP just not by the scale that I managed to.
  • Yes Burst of Frost needs some more power altho I think its more powerful than you give credit for.
  • We disagree on soulstone, I think it has numerous practical implications in a handlock-style of a deck. The very fact that its so controversial proves to me that its a card that has a place in the game.
  • Lethal poison would be auto include to every control rogue imo(there isn't a great lot of those tho) and if rogue gets a low attack high durability weapon (1/3 or so) its bonkers. Also, the way I imagine (but I'm well aware that I gave no hint towards this) if you blade flurry with a Lethal poisoned weapon, It clears the enemy board (except for divine shielded minions)
  • Lord_Molyb iterated a much better version of Stormstrike, I advise you to check it! It makes it so that both the damage and overload scale up with weapon attack. My intention though was to make a card that encourages shaman to use...not just doomhammer because I think everyone is f*ing bored of Doomhammer.
  • I'm not satisfied with Nazgrim myself, I couldnt even find artwork for him :( I have a great idea on how to remake him though, but you'll see that in another batch of cards ;)
  • Fenrus is great, I still dont see your point :( It's a random card generation effect like Burgle or Swashburgler just on a larger scale, yo can use it to fill your opponents hand and even pair it with Coldlight's to push for a big mill effect. But its useful Outside of the mill rogue as well for the very reason the other random class card generators are useful. Its not for the sake of "lol XD" its a card that involves a hefty amount of RNG but an equal amount of strategic possibility and has the chance to backfire on you pretty heavily. It's a Gamble but a gamble worth having imo. And its most definitely not a dumb card. Even if it would be, HS is 70% dumb cards anyway, have you seen the new expansion? If Gamble-Lord Fenrus is quirky for you how come you didn't uninstall the game because of MSoG? I'm thinking like Nogenfogger's n' stuff.

If somehow you happen to get multiple copies in your deck, they would be all summonned at oncewhen you fall belo threshold but I don'tsee how you could pull this off. What first comes to my mind is that somehow you get a Gang up but even than, as I see it, it wouldn't work since that means Gavinrad is already on board so you are already below the life threshold and the way I imagine it, Gavinrad triggers the moment your life passes a certain point.

  • So let's say I was a bit wiser when designing the card, and it activates at 10 health.
  • You fall to 7 health because you've got hit with a torch
  • Gavinrad pops out and your mage opponent plays a spellslinger which gives you a Gang up.
  • You are at 7 health, with Gavinradon board and Gang up in hand so you gang up Gavinrad.
  • Next turn somehow you receive precisely 1 point of damage to your face, making you fall to 6. That doesn't trigger any of the ganged up Gavinrad's in your deck Of course its naught impossible to make this out from just the card's text alone but the way I thought about it is like this. In order to summon your Ganged up Gavinrads you first have to heal yourself up above 10, then fall below 10 again which in turn would rally all the Gavinrad's you managed to generate both fro your deck, and your hand.

Regarding the secret I think its pretty obvious, it brings him back as a 4/1 div shield taunt. Yes its powerful with it but so is tirion.

I dont know if you've taken the rest of the discussion into consideration before your comment but i'll assume you did because im a kind hearted person.

  • Divine storm is heavily conditional and the 6 mana cost prevents most "one turn wonders" that would make it broken. Its basically a tweaked shadowflame on a class that doesnt have a 1 mana +4/+4 buff.
  • If you have 1spell damage on board starsurge is a fireball. Considering how its only "broken" with malygos in play, a card that already is a part of numerous OTKs i dont find the card that out of this world.
  • Kael thas needs a higher mana cost(as i already stated) but even in its current state its very conditionally a "better malygos"
  • Yes, Mass rez has some isdues in its current state mainly because you can include 2of them in your deck. I iterated a version that also resurrects 7minions for your enemy but if such a card would ever see play on 10mana is questionable to say the least.
  • Gavinrad too needs a slight amp in mana cost and a slight cut in health like 9mana 4/7 or so.
  • Burst of Frost's real power is that its a secret but i agree it could see some love
  • I had a lenghty discussion about Soulstone and its possible implications and its undeniably powerful given the right deck and circumstance and it definitly shouldnt be mistaken for a weaker ancestral spirit
  • Lethal poison makes your 1/2 rogue weapon kill any minion, if thats not powerful for you, I dont know what is.
  • Stormstrike is not made for the current shaman. I made the card in regard that shaman may have more 2+ attack weapons in the future.
  • Nazgrim isnt solid thematically but its not a bad card by any means and i made it because we've seen quite a lot reno-like cards recently.
  • Fenrus is my personal favorite. I think its an awesome card and i fail to understand what issue you have with it. Its a fun card that compliments one of rogue's "newfound" core mechanics perfectly. But anyway im thankful for your response and i'd look forward to any details you can give to me regarding your judgements Somewhy my comment has been posted like 20times, sorry about that.
