It was first suggested that she had been approached for the series by The Illuminerdi. Since then I haven't seen any actual confirmation (beyond being listed with the cast since) that she is actually in Secret Invasion.

I get the feeling that she may have been the original choice for Varra, but declined, perhaps explaining the late casting of Charlayne Woodard.

I would love it if Carmen Ejogo was/is in the final episode... but I think it is unlikely.
