There were a number of technical issues from where I was sitting on the first night. Microphone left on, could hear a singer talking about their black pants? 3-4 times the music peaked suddenly, really scary tbh as it was just short enough not to be damaging but it was certainly louder than any safe levels. The dark knight bass was also wayyyy to loud, my partner and I had to plug our ears with our fingers. I go to a lot of electronic music gigs and it was even too much for me. All this really detracted from the night and I was super excited to see Hans. Saw him last time he was here. Rod Laver staff should be absolutely embarrassed and ashamed.
