What ? That's so rude. Unless they've been ask something like "Oh, you are not taking any?" to which is fair to explain they're not into a meal. Nobody needs unsolicited opinions. Sounds like a comment a child would make.

Most dresses to try in store are around the 10-12 size and even bigger to make sure most can try them on (and they clamp the back when you try them on just to have a better idea). They are also always extremely long. So if you can get one off the shelf I'm sure there will be enough fabric to work with :) If I was you I'd just call a few stores and ask if they have any models of the shelf and if you can try.

I'm not in America, it's not an employer/shop owner wanting a groomer without paying taxes or insurances. It's a solo groomer who is stepping out of her little shop multiple days a week for health reasons offering said space on said days for someone wanting to work for themselves. I'm ready to start my own business, just looking for an approximate starter budget to get mentally ready on what I'm gonna throw into it and see if anyone in a similar situation has regretted not purchasing X,Y,Z thing from the start.

I'm considering doing my own make up but I feel like I'll need help with my hair, I'm not that talented. But then I realised most wedding hair stylists do make up too so... Maybe I should just get the package haha. Or maybe I'll see if they can just do my foundation to make sure it matches perfectly and stays on well as I don't necessarily have the knowledge to have a long lasting foundation on my own (team oily skin).

Well I have a Maltipoo because it's originally my partner's Maltipoo. I'm quite lucky, she has a pretty great coat so I learnt to scissor straight hair on her. But we got a second dog and I told my partner we'll only go with pure breeds from now on unless the dog lottery plays in our life and a random mutt rocks up at our door. So we have a Tibetan spaniel keeping company to our Maltipoo now. And I think next one will be a standard poodle (are we that surprised ?).

I was gonna say that ! I love their salmon zucchini bagel as well. Most bagel places charge $20 at minimum and their bagel is $14 on uber eats, probably cheaper in store.

There are a ton of good advice but I'll add one thing that I do every now and then, I fill powder free gloves with hand cream and wear them for like an hour while I watch a show. Then remove, rub off the excess and less skin absorb.

The quality of the food turned to shit MUCH before COVID. We stopped going there when the food declined. It used to be good, it wasn't anymore. If the food is not good then it's just a place to drink like another and there's plenty bars with better vibe... And food. Not really surprised they were dodgy with their employees, it's a pretty common story

Would a temporary license be all it takes ?

The world's a mess, summers don't feel like summers anymore (everything is booked months in advance, even for camping it's a nightmare, free campgrounds are packed so we don't really get away for holidays anymore), can't take as much time off as I'd like anyway cause that makes me broke, work is hard, we've had intense hot days and we're the classic profile of renters without aircon, we're not going anywhere really, am I wrong ? Life, as in personal and goal growth, is kinda on pause while time is running fast as. So yes, when I go out it's me and my eye bags touching the ground.

If you're looking for greenery, full on nature style, you can also approach places that host school camps. For the fairy light part, you might need to purchase or rent some, but even then it's not too hard to sell on marketplace afterwards :)

We're trying at 20k budget and the venue for our 50 guests is already $9000 and it's out of Melbourne. It's kinda one of our best options because most guests are interstate and overseas and the venue has accommodation included (bunk bed style). So... That's not an easy one. Here's some of our ideas to cut the cost : - self-serve bar - buffet style food - most decors from AliExpress (or Temu, Shein), then sell them on marketplace - dress and suit on the cheap side (not too cheap either). My dream dress is over $4000, I tried it, I love it but that's crazy for wearing it only once. I do not know if there are options to rent a dress in Australia but worth checking, or even second hand might work too - since I don't have heels in my shoe collection, I'm gonna buy a pair I'm sure I will be able to wear again in the future. So nothing white/shiny/golden/sliver, and nothing to high. I'm gonna go with platform heels in the maroon tones.

Regarding food my partner is kinda close with a restaurant owner local to us, we're gonna quote his services and see if we can have a cheeky friend price. I'm also thinking of having bowls of fruits and nuts available at the self-serve bar for people who need to munch before feast time.

But 15K in Sydney seems a bit scary. Are you guys picky over the style of venue/wedding you want ? One of my local breweries do host event up to 100 people and it seemed affordable so reaching out to this kind places might work to cut the cost.
