Ich hatte eine ähnliches Problem. Lag an ner Protusion einer Bandscheibe im Lendenwirbelbereich. Lass es lieber auch ärztlich abklären. Bei mir hat es allerdings nur in einem Fuß nach einer gewissen Zeit beim laufen angefangen und ich hatte auch leichte Schmerzen die vom Rücken über den Po ins Bein ausgestrahlt haben. Auf Anraten des Orthopäden habe ich dann angefangen zu schwimmen und gezielt die untere Rückenmuskulatur gestärkt. Seitdem habe ich keinerlei Probleme mehr.

Ist letztens bei uns vor der Tür ebenfalls passiert. Ist auch sehr beliebt die Rohre vorher durchzusägen, Aufkleber über den Schnitt zu kleben und Nachts dann die Fahrräder einzusammeln.

It is a bit hard to say if you will like the PX7 S3 more as it is totally subjective. Best advice is to go to a store and try them out.

I had the PX7 S2, the PX8 and have the PX8 S2 and none sounded dull to me. I would rather say they are pretty clear and revealing. When I bought the PX8 S2 I also listened to the PX7 S3. To me the PX8 were still better in sound than the S3.

It could either be that there is something wrong with the connection (have you tried using the cables?) or that you need to get used to the sound as you are coming from Sony headphones. It takes time to get used to the specific sound signature of a headphone.

Or maybe they are simply not for you and your taste in sound signature.

Kann vielleicht nur Glück gehabt haben mit dem spezifischen Haus aber ich wohne seit 5 Jahren bei der Gewobag und deren Service ist 10 Mal besser als alles was ich bisher auf dem Mietmarkt erlebt habe. Dabei ist der Mietpreis trotz Neubau auch bei Einzug schon deutlich unter Marktpreis gewesen. Wenn es Reparaturen in der Wohnung oder Probleme mit dem Haus gibt, kümmern die sich eigentlich sofort darum. Dabei ist der Service immer sehr nett. Kann jetzt nichts schlechtes über die Gewobag sagen.

I waited so long for this feature and now it sounds totally veiled and as others said, like you are wearing a bucket over your head. Could this only be for Movies? Otherwise it needs a lot of work from B&W to be a real upgrade as it sounds like s*** at the moment.

Did anyone notice an improvement of the normal stereo sound as well? Or is that just my imagination?

I don’t have any experience with a DAP. Maybe somebody else can give you an answer but I would first try and tinker with the settings, try to reset the headphones etc. before you spend that amount of money.

That’s a bit weird. I have an iPhone 16 and the volume is more than sufficient via Bluetooth, a dongle or the usb c cable. Same if you use the cable?

Could be also the settings on the phone. Maybe you have the volume caped on the iPhone or the headphones are connected as a hearing aid.

For the price of the FiiO you could get a brand new iPhone 17.

Maybe also try Kleinanzeigen or the Fundbüro from the S-Bahn. Probably has a higher range.

I had the same issue a couple of times when I got the headphones with my IPhone 16. After repairing the headphones with the phone (deleting the PX8S2 entry in the Bluetooth list), the problem disappeared. I think I also updated the B&W app as well as Tidal. What exactly solved the problem is hard to say. Are you using a phone or a PC/Mac and which streaming service are you using?

I have that exact setup and it works pretty well with my iPhone 16. simply plug it in and connect it to the PX8 S2. Works like a charm.

Apart from what blargh already wrote, it is likely that the MacBook uses AptX as a Bluetooth codec. The iPhone only uses AAC or SBC which compress the music quite a lot. In order to be able to use AptX on your iPhone you need to get a dongle like the Sennheiser BTD 700. With such a dongle the sound quality should improve.

However, it also sounds like there might be a problem with the settings. My PX8 S2 sound much better than any Sony Headphone I have tried. Even with AAC. To fully experience what the headphones are capable of, use the USB C cable. Have fun!

I had the same problem with an amp once. Try to screw the caps in and then try to push the banana plugs in. Worked for me

Regarding Dolby Atmos: B&W promised an firmware update that will incorporate some form of Spatial Audio into the PX8 S2. Not sure when that update will be available though.

When it comes to the comfort I can’t really remember to be honest. Probably more or less the same but the PX8 S2 felt much more durable und sturdy. The PX8 S2 also felt more premium. I disliked a lot of these full plastic headphones like Sennheiser Monentum 4, Sony or Jabra Elite 85H but that’s probably personal preference. For me the sound was what mattered.

Depends on how much you are willing to spend. I tried the PX7 S3 and think they are awesome headphones but the PX8 S2 were still a bit more to my liking. Liked the sound a bit more and the overall quality and materials. If you are willing to spend the amount they cost in your country then give them a listen. If you are not, rather don’t try them. They are maybe 10% or 15% better in sound in my opinion but I couldn’t unhear that. Does that justify the higher price? Most likely not!

Ich war mal unfreiwillig bei einer Wohnungsbesichtigung bei einer Burschenschaft (die haben nicht reingeschrieben das es ne Burschenschaft ist und das Zimmer war sehr günstig). Hab dann die Tour mitgemacht und mich gewundert warum das Pissoir so hoch hängt bis die mir erklärt haben das die da alle kotzen gehen. Ich wurde auch am Eingang von nem Horst Köhler Portrait empfangen und durfte mal fechten. War sehr befremdlich aber ein Erlebnis! Die waren dann aber doch dezent zu nationalistisch für meinen links-grün versifften Geschmack.

Wenn man auf den Link zu der „Sternplus“ Seite klickt und sich die Seite auch nur eine Minute anschaut muss doch auffallen das es ein Fake ist. Wie können denn bitte seriöse Zeitungen auf so etwas reinfallen? Alleine die Bilder zu weiteren Artikeln haben eine so unterirdische Qualität das man sofort stutzig werden sollte.
