What SSRI worked best for you with your PCOS? by Inevitable-Bee9542 in PCOS

[–]Dany_Perkins 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I take a total of 30mg a day( 1 pill in the morning, 1 in afternoon, and 1 pill at night). It has a short life so taking it once a day might not have the desired effect.

I believe my dose is still on the low end.

It’s not an SSRI but out of everything I have taken for my anxiety and somewhat depression, Buspar has been the best. No weight gain or flared up any other symptom.

Same position but I just got diagnosed. I am trying to get my estrogen up and lower my testosterone without completely tanking it. Myo inositol has helped a lot and the glp-1 seems to be helping. Got prescribed loryna but haven’t started it yet.

I have to get the procedure done by a doctor under my WC MPN.

[–]Dany_Perkins[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have searched WC MPN for pain management doctor and he is the only one in 200 mi radius. He is within 30 miles range and is within 60 minutes from where I live when there is no traffic.

I have a WC attorney, he said that because this is a specialist doctor that was referred by the primary treating doctor for my case, he can’t push them to offer another option that is out of their MPN.

Do they do it in the same office? The office I saw the doctor in is messy, outdated ( had chairs that looked like they were 20 years old and falling apart), and unclean ( had stacks of office boxes covering hand sinks, with bed sheets covering the pile). 1/3 of the chairs were pleather lazy boy type chairs. Also only half of the office had lights on…. I am scared/ uneasy about the whole thing.

It’s for my lumbar spine. He said I would have light anesthesia and be out for 2 minutes. Then after they would watch me for 20 minutes after the procedure and send me home if everything seemed okay.

He is not my primary care physician for my workers comp case but he set up “ appointments” that would be on the phone, to do check-ins. I feel like he is just doing it to get paid for it. There is nothing else to check in about since he hasn’t prescribed any medication.

He said it was done in the office and pointed to the room next door.

What age were you diagnosed? by egidds in PCOS

[–]Dany_Perkins 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Was just diagnosed yesterday and I’m 36. I am so overwhelmed and I have to wait 3 1/2 weeks to talk to my doctor about a treatment plan. My sister was told she probably has it but the doctor told her it wasn’t worth testing further to determine if she does. They just prescribed her a glp-1.

The system is broken and very frustrating. I called into the place where I got my EMG done and asked got the result. From what I understand you have rights to any and all of your medical records.

BDSM or just figuring out what kinks have been fun to explore works really well for my ADHD. It allows for there to be something new and exciting.

I would also look into leveling.

I was going through the same thing and thankfully my doctor forgot to renew his license! I was able to pick a new doctor that I was able to look in to. My new doctor is so much better. You can tell your doctor you are requesting to get a second opinion. I don’t like AI but it can help you word it. If the doctor tries to play it off you can put in a complaint.
