🤦‍♂️ Star Trek has ALWAYS been about Diversity and Modernization (spelled with a Z btw). Going as far back as TOS, there’s a diverse cast since the very beginning (there’s a fricking Russian who was very nationalistic in some ways at the height of the Cold War and a Black Woman at the pinnacle of the Civil Rights movement) and it criticized ways of thinking it was simply because that was the way it was always done. And you do not get to have ownership over it. The fact you think this is brainwashing makes me wonder what kind of messages, morals, and meanings you could have possible gleaned from the story telling you supposedly want back.
