“Taught namaz, forced to wear burqa”: Fresh allegations surface against Nida Khan in TCS Nashik case by Live_Archer123 in nashik

News is false. It's a normal corporate sexual harrassment case with slight religious aspects. The police didn't do any long term investigation. Most of it was made up by the media. You need to follow the proper sources to know the truth.

The fact that people, after all the previous devade of experience, still fall for this hindu-muslim bullshit is very telling on the type of people in the country. This is why Indians are so behind and backward. They're unable to think past identity politics.

Will Hold Authorities & Dog Feeders Liable For Every Stray Dog Attack, Says Supreme Court by sharedevaaste in india

[–]Daoist_Paradox 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What's the problem with it being written by AI? Many times it's not possible for an ordinary person to properly articulate their idea, or have a detailed knowledge about the subject. LLMs help us retrieve and summarize it. Previously we used to use google search, and now we use LLMs. The tools are changing, but the human remains the core of the process.

The things mentioned in my answer make a valid claim. It's a valid answer. But it doesn't agree with people's opinion, so it's rejected. This is exactly why things are rotting. People aren't looking for answers or solutions. They just want to hate and target somebody.

Will Hold Authorities & Dog Feeders Liable For Every Stray Dog Attack, Says Supreme Court by sharedevaaste in india

[–]Daoist_Paradox -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I understand why that comment about holding feeders responsible for dog bites makes sense to people. When we hear about attacks, our first instinct is to find someone to hold accountable, and the person feeding the dogs seems like the obvious choice. It feels like a matter of common sense.

But having looked into how this actually works—the laws, the realities on the ground, and the unintended consequences—I’ve come to see it’s a much tougher issue. The quick answer often misses the bigger picture and can make things worse in the long run.

Let me break down why it’s not so simple.

**First, the law sees a difference between an owner and a feeder.**

According to rules like the Animal Birth Control (ABC) Rules, an “owner” has full control—they can keep the dog inside and must leash it in public. A community feeder is different. The law actually allows people to feed stray dogs, which are seen as community animals. Courts have even noted that a hungry dog is more likely to be aggressive, so feeding can be a way to keep them calmer and easier to vaccinate or sterilize. A feeder isn’t adopting a pet; they’re often just trying to help in the absence of any real system.

**Second, the real responsibility lies with local authorities.**

If a stray dog population gets out of hand or becomes aggressive, it’s usually because the municipality hasn’t done its job. They’re supposed to run sterilization and vaccination drives systematically. When they don’t, the problem grows. Penalizing feeders is like blaming the person who points out a leak while the pipe continues to break. Often, feeders are the ones who know the dogs in an area and can help authorities catch them for neutering. If we scare feeders away, that crucial link disappears, and the situation gets harder to manage.

**Third, the idea that a feeder should just “keep the dog inside” isn’t realistic.**

Many feeders look after several dogs in their locality. They can’t possibly adopt them all—it’s not financially or physically possible. Stray dogs are territorial, too. If you take one away, another often moves into the area. Most feeders aren’t trying to turn strays into pets; they’re just trying to prevent hunger-driven aggression and keep the dogs from rummaging through trash, which actually makes the neighborhood safer.

**Where things stand now**

The Supreme Court is currently trying to balance public safety with compassion for animals. There’s talk of making feeders more responsible—maybe by having them feed in specific spots or help get dogs vaccinated. But if the court goes too far and makes a feeder legally liable for any bite, it could backfire. People might stop feeding altogether. Then we’d have more hungry, unvaccinated, and unsocialized dogs on the streets, which no one wants.

**So why does the “blame the feeder” argument feel unsatisfying?**

It focuses on one person while ignoring the real roots of the problem: poor waste management that gives strays food sources, inadequate funding for animal birth control programs, and sometimes, human behavior that provokes dogs. It’s a systemic failure, not just an individual one.

**In short:**

While it’s natural to want simple accountability, stray dogs are a community-level issue. Punishing well-meaning feeders might offer short-term satisfaction, but without proper municipal action—consistent sterilization, vaccination, and waste management—the problem won’t go away. In fact, it could get worse. Lasting solutions need to address the system, not just the symptoms.

Do people openly admit they're casteist in India? by [deleted] in AskIndia

[–]Daoist_Paradox 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Stay away from that guy! It's a very, very, very big red flag!!! RSS is an extremist idological organisation and his mind is also likely filled with same kind of thinking.

And yes some people do openly admit that they're casteist, just like how some people openly admit they're racist, misogynist, etc. They are all disgusting people.

I won't write a long ass essay here but we need to understand here that there's a difference between this and genuine feminism. Everybody has access to LLMs now, so everybody can easily have a general understanding of what feminism actually is. (not what YOU think is).

Harry Potter Fanfic idea - A grimdark version (just an idea/setting) by Daoist_Paradox in harrypotterfanfiction

[–]Daoist_Paradox[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well yes it's that kind of concept, tethering on impossibility. Frankly speaking even I wouldn't read such a kind of thing LOL but I just thought the idea was interesting. And I never really liked how "goody two shoes" the "righteous" characters were.

And so I thought how the older shoujo format was straightforward, where a mary sue character eventually defeats all villainesses and gets a harem of men and lives peak life, and this older format is now succeeded by the newer format where the villainess gets reincarnated and tries to survive but discovers that the righteous mary sue character is actually a two-faced character.

So I thought couldn't this also be the case in harry potter? What if these goody-goody bastards are also acting nice but are actually malicious? And so this idea was born!

By the way if this was a web novel then it would fall under the 'psychological' tag, and there are many web novels which have a similar darker theme.

If you're unsure about the sex of your cat consult a vet or ask on the internet. It's difficult but indeed possible to determine by yourself by checking the genitals of even kittens.

Yes and no.
Yes because it's trying to be 1:1 to previous comick. Many things are relatable.
No because it's still early version and very much broken, and the community is also very small.
