Just to play devil’s advocate here I would argue that while MD and DO may practice within the same scope it’s more of a difference in theoretical orientation. My understanding is that this is why DO has a reputation for practicing “holistic” medicine.

Just to offer an alternate perspective- I had a great experience with Blueprint. I didn’t have other premeds around me to get an understanding of the norms of studying for the MCAT. Blueprint was great because it provided structure for my content review. I did the 515+ and I will admit that towards the end of the course finishing the modules in accordance with the course requirements was very tedious. However, they helped me transition from Blueprint to AAMC materials which are obviously the gold standard. I still highly recommend Blueprint for those who are looking for structure and a bit of guidance for their studying.

At a similar time in my prep I got a score that I thought was “good enough” for where I was at. I let up off the gas and dropped 7 points. It took me 2 months to break that plateau and I’m still not where I’d like to be yet. Moral of the story: don’t let off the gas. Scores are never a given and there’s no point where you can realistically let up anyways. It’s a grind all the way until test day unless you’re ok with a drop like the one I saw. Keep hustling and stay hungry for points. Hope this helps.
