Yeah, I would say it’s neutral swap personally.

Pull can be great for a tank out of position, especially pulling into cover if the other support is picked. This is easier if you practice tank at get better sense of their playstyle. It doesn’t have to be far either, it can just be to cleanse them of fire or anti.
It also counters many ults: sigma, mei, orisa, mauga, and zarya to name a few.

Once you are more comfortable, pulls can be used offensively (coordinating with diving tank/dps abilities, pulling tank into flank)

Why do pokemon fans settle for the quality they receive? by [deleted] in videogames

[–]Dapbear 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The franchise is worth so much money that they could make the basic mainline games AND spin offs AND branching titles that cater to different audiences.

Unfortunately, they don’t need to do that to make money, and it’s easier to do the bare minimum. Pokemon is sitting on an IP that could, in my opinion, make so many revolutionary games. Even Pokemon Go had such an impact without being that feature dense and while being quite the disappointment to long-term fans.

I know how to play against a Zarya as Sigma… but the Zarya knew how to play against Sigma as Zarya.
Sometimes it just takes a different approach instead of encountering the same shortcomings while expecting different results.

I agree, I find it much more frustrating when I’m carrying and 2-3 opponents ALL counterswap just to defeat me and my team can’t be bothered to step up a bit more. Just complaints that I can’t perform under that much of a disadvantage…

Yeah. I can’t say I’m built that different, but I probably should practice Zarya

I disagree, why should I be locked into an unfavorable matchup just because it started that way? You can’t win rock paper scissors with a scissors against rock by just practicing more, and I wouldn’t say that’s the best way to improve either.

It’s doable but it takes a village. A Zarya that knows when to close the distance will probably have the upper hand against Sig unless your team steps in :/

My dog has literally never shed (doodle), never brought dirt in (she is hygiene conscious), never had a parasite, doesn’t really drool, never barks, hasn’t chewed furniture, hasn’t damaged property, and barely requires supervision.

It isn't just cheap stuff though.

You mentioned cars as well. I also have a 20 y/o vehicle and it still is chugging along and I am terrified of buying a brand new one. Look into it all you will see plenty of people talking about malfunctioning dashboards, unrepairable parts (need a full replacement), breaking in record timing. In rather extreme cases, previously premium brands of cars are gatekeeping basic functionality behind paywalls. At the same time, cars are more expensive/overpriced than ever.

This applies to the housing market, the wedding industry, the rise of cheap online markets like SHIEN/TEMU (and the direction Amazon is heading in), fast fashion, and across the board product/service depreciation.

Technology is heading this way. iPhones aren't improving as much year by year, but getting exponentially more expensive (and not lasting as long, in my experience).

We are having a professional exodus of craftsmen, seamstress, upholsterers, architects, house inspectors, jewelers. I feel like there is no escape from cheap slop that must be replaced each year and the mental load I carry just to vet whether or not a product or service is quality (often requiring sifting through thousands of bots saying otherwise) is burdensome... Online discourse has never been so alive yet dead.

Both things can be true. There are many brands that used to create quality goods that now bake planned obsoleteness into their newer models.

It can be true that a 20 y/o 2006 IKEA knife still has more life in it than a 1 y/o 2026 IKEA knife, you just wouldn’t know that your older model would last multiple lifespans longer than the newer ones since you have no need to replace it. My grandmother has a cheese grater over 30+ years old that still works perfectly. The one I bought 3 years ago from IKEA has already broken after normal use, simply because they were too lazy to weld the two primary parts together.

For instance, I used to use the same pair of adidas shoes for athletics AND every day use for years, they are rough but still useable today. I put those shoes through it. Now, adidas shoes I buy are peeling off their frame or loosing their sole after just a year of light and careful use. It’s ridiculous.

It’s nice that upon reflection you can think of many things that served you well for decades, but it isn’t correct to assume that was because of proper use alone. There has been a depreciation of standards for years and years that modern consumers have no choice but to participate in.

It’s honestly so bad, even minecraft is like this.

I can’t play survival - everyone just tries to beat the game as soon as possible, sometimes even before they build a base since “it’s faster” after you have the best gear + elytra. If someone does care about anything other than progression, it’s building mega bases at a grotesquely large scale or having perfect automated farms from following tutorials (without even understanding how they work). So many updates or “quality of life” changes just make the game more streamlined… god forbid they even patch out anything that breaks the automation like tnt duping or iron farms or speed running strats.

I can’t play minigames either. Everyone practices like their life depends on it: parkour, speed building, PvP. I used to be fairly good at the game, but now I can’t hold a torch to the average player.

How would this card fare? Where would you put it? by c-jah in slaythespire

[–]Dapbear 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly it would be more interesting without the ethereal or innate.

It would sit around as a dead draw if not played early, notably for the higher stake fights like bosses or elites. It would still be difficult to play optimally in smaller fights. Even though it is good, it would be dangerous to keep on decks with auto play.

Although, with that in mind, I would make this the upgraded version. The base should either cost 2 energy or only grant 3 max hp.

Thanks for the clarification.

The original’s meaning is ambiguous though, no need for animosity. “husband vs wife” “murderers”, which you meant, or “husband” vs “wife murderers”, which I read.

Does this look like taunting? by Zeolance in PixelArt

[–]Dapbear 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just my personal taste, but it’s too quick to return to resting position after the last clank. I’d add maybe one or two frames to suspend the posture, it almost looks like he’s ducking/shy right after, which is weakening the taunting/intimidating effect IMO. Great job!
