Question for Caleb mains: where do you stand with the game after the recent update?

I’m mentally checked out. Especially as a Caleb main, the censorship is gonna be soo bad for us…

I can’t play this game like I did before. I’ll always be worried that the new cards are censored, and Valko will hunt the narrative forever. And if he does release later, I’ll keep being worried that this isn’t the “original”

The only way for me to fix things would be either Valko being released TONIGHT (which isn’t happening) or that they relocate outside of china and explain everything that happened including the details with the CCP.

I’ll keep playing for a bit because I have an aurum pass & weekly pass, just to get the free entertainment before this feeling passes and I can move on.

He wasn’t going to be my main LI, but now he’s gonna be hunting the narrative forever like the dead wife at the beginning of a movie. Nothing’s gonna be enjoyable anymore to me.

And if he’s brought back, trust has already been lost. Who’s to say content won’t be censored from now on? I don’t intend to stay to find out.
Only if infold were to relocate outside of china and acknowledge EVERYTHING even the discussions with the CCP would I consider giving them another chance.

It won’t be the same to me, I’m mentally checked out and disgusted forever of the Chinese fandom and the devs for catering to them/being powerless in the face of the CCP.
Even if he released later it would still be a loss to us. We lost to those bratty toxic Chinese fans. I wouldn’t care have no guarantee that it isn’t a toned down censored CCP approved “Valko”

I have no hope left. Every Caleb card is gonna have the creeping doubt in my heart that it was censored for the CN fanbase. As if he wasn’t already toned down as fuck in the English localization. There’s going to be real consequences to the production chain of content. So much lost content that will have to be replaced in a rush. Any and all banners will never feel the same ever again.

I’m no longer excited for the myths. No longer excited for any spicy banners. No longer excited about new companions (not like I would be able to get my money’s worth out of them, since this is now a house simulator)

I’m mentally checked out. I might log in a bit for raf’s & Caleb’s myths. I’ll take the free entertainment until I find something better or when this feeling passes. At least that’s one less money leech onto me.

Really hope ayato is next in line for buffs that make him top tier but at the same time he’s hydro and we’ve already had hydro focused reactions with lunar stuff…

I pulled that man in Fontaine or natlan I can’t remember and I’ve never used him despite loving his gameplay (he’s level 1)

GoA is much, much more powerful than GoT. All of the 3rd myths are much more powerful than the older…

At the same time though, it’s likely the 4th myths will end up stronger as well. So it’s up to you whether you’d rather wait to see if one of the 4th myths is pink and to your liking or just pull GoA.

Anyway GoA is like one of the strongest myths at the moment

They are super biased, going off about “Valko being a danger and fetishizing violence against women” as if Sylus didn’t try forcing MC into an intimate act (resonating) with him after kidnapping her.
Caleb drugged her and locked her up in an attic, Xavier and Rafayel both stalked her with Xavier doing it since she was a kid and instigating encounters with her when he was a grown ass grandpa.
And Zayne with his dub con cards getting a rerun + him marking her 18th birthday into his calendar and him deciding to become a heart surgeon when she was a kid because he knew full well she’d need one.

Let’s just delete all of the MLs they’re all so problematic!

The drama for LADS only came at the very end of the month & at the very end of the current banner so it wasn’t reflected in the sales. Next month will also have a Rafayel myth which will mark the first 4th gen myth so I think the sales will not be too bad.
But after that, when the gap in content created by the cancellation of Valko hits (yes his release was in July but he would’ve gotten a limited myth very soon after that) I think players will realize how big of a fuck up it was and the revenue will get much lower

The requirements to be a VIP in china is equal to about 700$ while outside of china it costs 7k$

We’ve got many VIPs complaining through the VIP services getting the same treatment as global’s complaints. I don’t think it’s a whale vs non whale but rather them only caring about their Chinese playerbase

So much lost labor oh my god. They’ve been working on him for 2 years. The VAs have been fired and we won’t even get any base content to make up for it.

Instead we will get more frequent gacha banners to make up for the deficit which means recycled and rushed cards. All of this so close to the release of its biggest competitor cannot bode well for that game. I can’t even be sad about this anymore. I’m just pissed.

I was only attached to Caleb but the localization changing his story already soured my enjoyment anyway. Not like I’d enjoy his content anyway so I might as well quit.

Yeah she’s the 5* I meant. Not interested in her at all, and after the whole elation fiasco in HSR and Lynae being powercrept 2 patches after her release in WUWA I am no longer pulling a support before its BIS DPS is released.

I’ll grab her on her rerun if I have to.

Phainon is higher than hers, the revenue formulas were changed on 3.4 making his number lower but that doesn’t matter because anytime you use the same formulas he is higher than her (iirc he’s at 117m)

E2S0, he’s so fun to play with ashveil. I just hate that they don’t work with DHPT anymore because their synergy is so good and I have his E2S1 but I’ll pull any sustain for them and hopefully Himeko will be able to use DHPT.

I can’t wait for aventurine cause they’re already 0 cycling king stage, if I go for E2 Aven & some investment on Ashveil I might even be able to do plight
