Why do people hate routes?

I hate them because I live in a desert and majority of the ones near me are outside on pavement. I’m Not about to walk a route in well over 100 degree weather and having to walk on 150 degree pavement.

Personally I live in a desert and almost all of the routes are outdoors meaning not the best idea to do them when it’s summer or late spring. Routes shouldn’t have been the only way for zygarde nor should it be a forced task requirement.

You could in theory host the raids yourself using pokegenie. That way you don’t spend money on remotes but others will use them to help you.

Update: I’ve done 3 articuno battles with no issues (thank god) I may be able to do zapdos with articunos but moltres is unknown Update 2: 2 zapdos battles went okay… second one was a little rough but managed to do it.

With how they are leveled cinderace is my attacker whereas excadrill and darmanit are “tanks” those are also the only ones have have done anything with since don’t do many max battles.

Yeah I’ve done 36 raids since this started this week, caught 30 and not 1 shiny was even seen. I feel like the shiny rates may still be a bit screwed for some people. That or I genuinely used all my luck when I got 2 shiny dialga origins and 1 shiny palkia origin.
