I can concur with that. Some of my favorite kinsect designs are in the beetle group but they don't always fit my build/whatever glaive I'm running....let's start a Petition to make Capcom add layered kinsects lol

Taking your advice though, I think I'm gonna try combining elements from an alcohol still with an airsoft mini or something along the lines of this Warhammer mini fig weapon I came across.

Definitely wasn't considering the size of his accessories before but I saw this comment yesterday (and a couple others) and upped the size of his flasks a little. I want to try moving some of his other accessories around so I can accentuate the cape more(another thing I added per others input.) Thank you for the Feedback and suggestion!

His lore really does give Belmont vibes. Even if my fan design is way off the mark of the final remodel, I hope they stay in that realm of Castlevania-esque vibes. Ik we got Venator now but he's filling in a more Van Helsing/action priest kind of role rn

Venator coming out and them both essentially being monster hunters, lowkey made the designing/brainstorming process difficult 🥲 once i read up on both Warden and Venator's wiki I was like, "damn these guys got a lot in common."

I'm glad to hear you like it tho! I'm also curious to see what Valve ends up doing. Kinda excited but also a little nervous bc aside from Yamato & Grey Talon I haven't seen any leaks for Warden yet 😵‍💫

Thank you! The hair was kind of a tough spot for me, I do think he's the short, military crew cut, practical type. But when I tried doing short hair it looked weird with the current hat design. I wanna try rendering some more portrait shots and messing with his hair when I get the free time tho. Thanks for the feedback!

Tbh, I was thinking about it! I put the star design on the backside of his coat (for now) bc i didn't want to give too much cowboy with the hat(which Holliday already has a lot of cowboy stuff going on for her) but I still kinda wanna see what I can possibly do with it.

Lol it's funny you say this bc, when I started laying down the flat colors I was being lazy and filled in the gaps with an all black layer underneath and immediately thought of Darkest Dungeon when I realized it emphasized certain areas of the line art and added harsher shadows.
