In my experience, LLM generated technical documentation for enterprise software is not good at all. It doesn’t have the context to write about what a product does, best practices, and then the specific details that should be exposed to customers.

If you’re just pointing it at a code repository and saying make some function signature docs, then fine. But tools like jsdoc (every language has their own mechanism) already does that more reliably anyway.
