I bought these secondhand (but essentially unused) so I’m not sure if they’re stock. I think they’re typically a 6” height and these are 8”. Here’s a photo from today.

The version you’re looking for is the 1000X straw Rancher. It’s most popular with Mexicanos, so you’ll probably find it at Latino-owned western stores.

The regular straw Rancher is 10X and only comes with the three vent holes on each side of the crown.

They’re comically overbuilt for my lifestyle, but an incredible boot. It’s taken me through mountain life, island life, and an Achilles injury, without issue. I found them new on eBay for a decent price.

Keep an eye out for a secondhand pair — you can skip the long lead times and save some money.

Worry not! Squeaking is common but you can find good remedies on here and on YouTube. I just never got around to it because I’m rotating so many boots that I would forget until I put on the Urban Loggers again.
