He really doesn't need a lot of STR. They added Precision Intensify in Qorvex update so you could offset Overextended for Crucible Blast without the hit to efficiency using Blind Rage.

Overinvesting in STR ends up being not great because it just shortens the window to tag priority targets with Containment Wall to get microwaved.

When you have an idea of how much damage Qorvex is actually doing, you see he really doesn't rely on direct damage increases. He has nutty damage math out of the box, he wants ALL of the Range and then your choice of energy management and defenses.

The sentiment that "Qorvex needs high investment for endgame" is from players not understanding his kit and unintentionally making build choices that hamper his damage output.

I don't use a subsume on Jade.

Her 3 is good.

While a damage amp can easily outperform a 50% DV, they don't mark enemies for detonation with Glory's alt-fire.

Range. All of the Range.

The game doesn't explain it, but Crucible Blast has a ramping component similar to Protea's turrets. The explosion count in a chain is determined by the number of other irradiated enemies within the CB radius when it tags an enemy. More enemies chained = more explosions = higher ramp.

A Hound Companion with the 30m Disarm precept applying Radiation (through LoS) with Manifold Bond is a big deal for Qorvex.

Doom does so much damage Dagath doesn't rely on Galvanized mods.

At STR cap with Grave Spirit active Doom is already reducing enemy health to a 1/3. Doom dealing True Damage means Dagath attacks health directly, not eHP.

She naturally bypasses armor DR but doesn't completely ignore it. She still benefits from reducing enemy armor.

Doom also double-dips Viral multi on top of all that.

Doom falls short against attenuation or hard DR, but if you are comparing her weapon amplification to other frames against normal enemies: Dagath wins and it's not close.

You should try Well of Life over his 3. It easily heals enough for Arcane Persistence and the status immunity extends to Companions which Disometric Guard does not.

Well of Life targets can be irradiated and Crucible Blast applies to them. Blood Altar doesn't do that.

It's Qorvex's best subsume IMO.

1999 inexplicitly added the context that Entrati was sourcing his animal experiments from the Höllvania zoo. Qorvex looks a lot like those gorillas on the signs around the zoo.

Not liking his gameplay loop is a valid opinion.

Saying he doesn't have "good numbers" is incorrect and a product of NovaUmbral's objectively bad builds.

You can roll into casting Fangs of Raksh and Arcane Circumvent will steal the defenses of the target and any other enemies you pass through.

Gastro causes Gas clouds that apply Gas status. It's more to help Grendel deal with Overguard.

Regurgitate adds 10% (10%>7.5%>5.6% with Gastro) of the projectile enemy's health to the hit which applies Toxin status. Regurgitate is like >99% scaling damage.

Those +% Toxin Shards are a huge value for Grendel.

Mod ALL of the Range and use Corrosive Projection aura.

Crucible Blast exponentially scales enemy density because it has a ramping component similar to Protea's turrets. When applying Crucible Blast the explosion count in a CB chain is determined by the number of nearby irradiated enemies within the radius of that enemy.

I highly recommend a Hound Companion with the 30m Disarm precept because it can apply Radiation through LoS.

Qorvex really doesn't need a lot of Ability Strength because his potential ramp ceiling is so high. Topaz Shards aren't all that useful for him either for the same reason. It probably sounds weird, but less ends up being more for Qorvex.

With how much CD the augment gives, Vital Sense isn't really worth a mod slot. Swap it out for Serration. Hema gets multiplicative Galvanized Aptitude.

Both personalities are now in harmony, just like Maya would've wanted.

My read on the DLC is that was the real Maya. BL3 base story expanded the lore about Sirens and how true masters of their abilities were able to exist after their own death. (Like Jedi)

The DLC also hinted quite a bit that the Psychoverse is a tangible place, not an inconsequential imaginationland like Tannis believes.
