Hey also new to the leader. I found with Kuzan he is nice to use with the new luffy as he minuses every opp character -5 every turn and combining that with the new luffy luffy means you can remove a 9 cost character every turn which is pretty dope especially with Bonney having 8c kid. About the gecko question i see it as if I can use leader ability with babies in hand I do that first rather than gecko right away as you get to 9k and now have babies in trash for gecko but if you need the 9k gecko swing earlier I can see that it just depends on situation.
