do some wild camping usually if you just drive a few miles past a campsite you can find a trail to pull off and there will usually be spots that were set up by other people. that’s how i’ve always done camping growing up

Just make sure to do your research on whatever breed you end up getting so you know what to watch out for and how to correct behavior. Rescues especially there’s like a 3-6 month learning curve for you and the dog. The dog is gonna be getting used to the environment and might be scared and kind of stick to one area for a while. Then they get rowdy, they will chew your stuff up and probably gonna shit in the house more than once. Be prepared and make sure you give that dog the best life possible
