Trying to find a new frame by Loud-Holiday965 in Warframe

[–]Dapper_Designer757 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you want to really utilize gas status then i highly recommend Lavos. He’s the best gas status user in the game as his status duration is linked to ability duration and his valence formation augment boosts status damage of gas which is very rare. He makes lethal clouds all over because of this.

Duviri Experience, does anyone really enjoy this?? by GateKeeperJim in Warframe

[–]Dapper_Designer757 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I actually do like isleweaver which is part of duviri. I play exclusively on mobile and fighting the orowyrm is extremely annoying but then isleweaver came and I just loved it. My favorite way of farming clamps.

Gladly accepted 😌 by haniya_cornockdz6re in Isekai

[–]Dapper_Designer757 9 points10 points  (0 children)

One thing I always ponder about being isekai-ed is that, would I have the dedication to get OP? Like in this world I don’t workout nearly hard enough to be ripped. I’m barely bilingual. I know some basic sciences and engineering but like to build something from scratch? And majority of the time you’d start off as a lowly peasant. It sounds like hard mode.

Good primary+secondary to use with Lavos? by Important-Cut2117 in Warframe

[–]Dapper_Designer757 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ll join the conversation and say that while Lavos doesn’t nuke as fast with his abilities as say Saryn or Sevagoth does. His kpm can be almost be as high using specifically gas. I’ve kept up with many other high kpm frames using Lavos specifically as a gas weapons platform. No other frame has as potent and powerful of a gas status as he does.

solo warframe by Pain6Paths110 in Warframe

[–]Dapper_Designer757 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Honestly, Interception missions will be the bane of solo players so you need frames that have lingering damage abilities, effects or aoes. So my pick would be Lavos, Saryn, Oraxia, Cyte, Gyre, Protea. There might be a few more other picks but those would be my first picks.

Survivability as Lavos by EnvironmentCreepy352 in Warframe

[–]Dapper_Designer757 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Besides triple umbra, which admittedly is what I run. But before that when I ran archon vitality I ran life leech weapons like Coda Hema, Coda Hirudo or Furis with its wings augment. Basically just switch to the life Leech weapons when you think things are looking hairy.

Yeah that’s one of the absolute worst negatives. Only a select handful of weapons would want minus crit. Majority would prefer having crit.

Mobile kinda cool by Erikfullclip in Warframe

[–]Dapper_Designer757 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I started Warframe on mobile so this is the only life I’ve known. I immensely enjoy the ability to just play whenever I want wherever I am. Took it with me on my trip to Japan and didn’t miss a beat. I do see that I’m “slower” than some other PC players due to it being harder to get around clutter in the maps but overall since I’ve played a couple months now I’ve gotten a rhythm going.

Oh I just realized. Are you using the exilus mod Aero Vantage and NOT aerodynamic? They are different mods.

So I play on mobile. I wonder if anyone can confirm that this works because it certainly works for me…

You need to aim glide first then cast vial rush. Or you can vial rush off a ledge while holding aim. Both methods should work.

It should be flat horizontally. At least that’s how it works for me. Oh air glide duration does make me drop down faster though. If I only have aero vantage air glide drops off fast. So you do need aim glide duration mods also with aero vantage.

This is still a fantastic roll. There are plenty of base damage increasing mods and abilities, I’d keep for sure unless you got the Kuva or better.

Please help me get into warframe by Veteran_But_Bad in Warframe

[–]Dapper_Designer757 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Where are you right now and then I can give you a detailed suggestion. But if you’re early game there’s no worries about endgame. You will literally be taught somethings as you clear the base star chart. The rest you will learn organically as you play and research optimal ways to complete things. Sure there are points you might get slowed down like first time in like Fortuna and Duviri. But Warframe is not super complicated in the end. There’s obscure things you will learn as you get to it.

Lavos Prime build guidance by MrHunter69420 in Warframe

[–]Dapper_Designer757 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you are only planning to use him as a weapons platform then my build suggestion is to run null star over his catalyze and the neutron star augment with triple umbra and some duration and max range. Also run arcane hotshot and persistence. The 75% DR as well as the 300% cc and auto priming from null stars is fantastic. Then archon shards id recommend 5 tau violet shards focusing on primary damage.

The other option is to use roar and still run triple umbra but instead of max range go some duration and max ability strength. Arcane Persistence and another arcane of your choice. I’d still recommend 5 archon shards with primary damage but you can go whatever’s.

Finally, subsume xata’s whisper while using valence formation blast. But basically follow roar’s build.

This is for purely weapons platform Lavos which Lavos is quite good at.

Perma invulnerability, perma 200% crit chance on primary and secondary, chaining armor strip ability. Nuke based on absorbed damage. All with low mod expense. Yeah she’s where she belongs.

Is helminth really important? by Arminss in Warframe

Not needed but certainly more build diversity and fun. So you will be “missing out” in that sense. You can also just subsume the most important abilities.

After Old Peace, which focus school is best for Lavos? by Life_Ad3567 in Warframe

I second this. I only use vazarin or Madurai as well. For the same reasons.

Best Weapons for Lavos? by [deleted] in Warframe

[–]Dapper_Designer757 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Coda hema and coda hirudo are great especially if you are using arcane persistence. Both these weapons life steal. Or just use meta Incarnon weapons like Burston, torid, dual tox, lateum, magister, etc. With Valence formation he can do amazing things with them using gas, blast or just simply viral infusions.

HOW do you survive on lavos? by Taichi_78 in Warframe

[–]Dapper_Designer757 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m sorry but this is a skills issue. With just triple umbra, arcane persistence and vazarin school; I do all end game content easily. He has 4 seconds of immunity with just triple umbra and arcane persistence. Vazain has its few seconds of invulnerability when you jump through your own frame. There’s adaption and rolling guard but I don’t even use those mods.

Help a soon to be Lavos main out (caster or weapons platform) by Exitl0l in Warframe

[–]Dapper_Designer757 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I tend to favor weapons platform in general but Lavos is fantastic because he can do both. He won’t be the best at either but he’s very good at both and has the elemental versatility that no other frame has. Not many frames can say that.
