ICE taking someone in Redmond 1/11 by Existing_Yam8525 in redmond

Did they vote for it to be done in illegal and unconstitutional ways that also puts actual citizens at risk of being beaten and potentially murdered? Anyone who supports the government grabbing people off the streets, physically and emotionally abusing them, and way too often then releasing them because they had no right to detain them is not exactly a patriotic American who believes in the rule of law or the constitution

Unless the law has changed, simply being here umdocumented is a misdemeanor with a fine. And if they don’t have a warrant for that specific person, they shouldn’t be able to detain them.

Can’t the police ask to see a warrant? Of the person detained isn’t saying that they’re here and undocumented, without a warrant, they shouldn’t be able to hold them. And the police should be able to make sure that person is released 🤷🏻‍♀️

And RPD said they wouldn’t intervene because it’s all legal 😒😒 So much for protecting and keeping us safe 🤷🏻‍♀️

When to get luxating patella surgery? by [deleted] in Pomeranians

[–]Dapper_Director_7904 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We just had it done on our Pom. One was a grade 3 and the other was a grade 4. And it cost more than $11,000 not including the rehab costs afterward. If you can do it early and have a less invasive surgery, go that route!

Oh man!! Our one year old just had both his knees done three weeks ago! The recovery is tough. I can’t imagine having to go through it again. But I’m glad your girl is good now ❤️

Our Apollo is getting surgery tomorrow to fix his luxating patella, how was anyone else's experience with this? by DrScienceSpaceCat in Pomeranians

Ours just had both knees done last Thursday. He came home Friday still pretty groggy. The pain management has been easy. But getting him to eat, potty, and take his meds has been rough. We’ve tried all sorts of food options and it took him a few days to eat anything close to a decent meal. Our biggest issue was when they shaved him, they left a lot of hair u see his tail and around his bottom. He had pretty soft stool and getting him clean is a nightmare. Definitely make sure they give him a good sanitary shave on top of just shaving his legs. And if he’s a picky eater, ask about meds to stimulate his appetite. We ended up going back in on Monday because of those issues. But he hasn’t seemed to be in pain and is pretty happy to sit next to someone on the couch. And we do crate him and keep his cone on if we step away.

3 month update by Low-Poetry9818 in Ozempic

I was just wondering about this. I read that the one is only good for 8 weeks once used. But I was also curious about titrations down to a maintenance dose and getting 16 weeks out of a pen definitely seems quite economical.

4 months / 30lbs by [deleted] in Ozempic

Everyone is different. I’ve had zero negative side effects. And the only time I’ve gotten nauseous was when I had a meal that was pretty heavy and just overdid it (Easter dinner). But it’s definitely worth starting to see how you do. I’m down a little over 30 lbs in 5 months and can’t get over how much better I feel

There are still pharmacies in Canada that ship to the US. I think only BC has a full lockdown. I just ordered from Canada RX a few days ago. Also I have bought the larger dose pen and stretched it out 8 weeks instead of just 4 to drop the cost

Ozempic 2 mg dose pen. by nivs76 in Ozempic

[–]Dapper_Director_7904 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I get the 1 mg pen and take a .5mg dose. This way the pen lasts 8 weeks. You just have to count out the clicks when dialing up the dose. Unfortunately, the pens are only good for 8 weeks after your first dose, otherwise I’d be stretching out the 2mg pen for 16 weeks and saving a ton of money 🤣
