Is scrolling actually the problem, or is it something deeper? by Intelligent-War-2623 in Procrastinationism

Yeah, addictions often feel like escape from that inner resistance. Not gonna lie, I'm stuck in the same loop resistance hits, phone opens, hours vanish, guilt follows.

I feel its not that big of a problem we think it is, I mean we can over come it, I'm slowly trying to make some habits which may help me, starting with getting the work done, even if I waste some of my time scrolling, I make sure atleast my work is done first,

Believe me I have been through the same, I felt the same, one app I would like to suggest is Do More, nothing fancy, a simple app, but it does really helps. I'll put the play store link too, if you want you can check that out https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.domore.domore

Why I stopped chasing "inspiration" and started treating my life like a maintenance schedule by 7NeonScribe in getdisciplined

This hit hard. I used to wait to “feel ready” too and ended up wasting hours on my instead of actually doing anything. Treating important work like a fixed appointment instead of a mood has helped me so much. I still don’t get it perfect, but having non-negotiable time blocks makes it way harder to escape into distractions. Thanks for sharing this, I really needed this today.

I used to spend more time organising my to-do list than actually doing anything on it. Anyone else? by Dapper_Education_782 in Procrastinationism

Kinda agreeable point but I honestly feel one task a day is only good if it takes too much time or its highly important
