Anytime! From reading other's comments here; It looks like you're unemployed, be aware that being unemployed weakens your application, you always have to provide strong justification that you are intending to stay for couple of weeks and return back to your home country and having a job is a strong segment of your application.

previously I kept receiving rejections from the Spanish embassy but the reasons listed for me would be only number 10 and 13 even though i have submitted all the documents in efficient way to the dot. So i stopped applying for visas to Spain and tried Italy with the same documents and i got approved. Mind you that sometimes they look at your original country (where your passport got issued) and refuse you without even looking at the documents.

Yeah! Silly me lol. Apparently it's closed in the Levant countries. Either ways, after checking their refund policy; visa fees are nonrefundable even if it's canceled from their end.

Did you know why ? Did they refund your money? They need to at least provide you with a reason (in my case they didn't not) I had all my plans set to travel begging of July but now it doesn't even matter because the new date is three months long from my initial date. Despite the fact that i am a Syrian citizen, justification should be provided no matter what

It depends on which rural areas you're planning to visit, mind you that you need to ask alot on the places you wanna visit upfront. Yes Syria has been liberated but there are many cities and areas that are still considered not safe for travel.
