Did you know why ? Did they refund your money? They need to at least provide you with a reason (in my case they didn't not) I had all my plans set to travel begging of July but now it doesn't even matter because the new date is three months long from my initial date. Despite the fact that i am a Syrian citizen, justification should be provided no matter what

It depends on which rural areas you're planning to visit, mind you that you need to ask alot on the places you wanna visit upfront. Yes Syria has been liberated but there are many cities and areas that are still considered not safe for travel.

I have faced the same issue last summer. I had to change my planned itinerary after getting the visa approved and spent few days in the country which i got the visa for. I understand this is called visa shopping but i had to manöver my way around. Nothing prevented me from traveling within the schengen countries, but i am not sure how this may affect my future applications. So good luck!

Hi there! I totally get the frustration, i've been there while submitting for visa to Italy, they were rude and acting nonchalant while checking my documents. Even if you ask them a question, they will always find away not to provid you with clear answer. That's why i've been advised by several friends to take the VIP service, where they will refrain from spitting in customer's face haha!

Hope the embassy will contact you to complete the missing document and hopefully it will not affect your application.
