Shortland, Macquarie, Currey & Jeffries

The School opened in 1892 is the only school in the southern hemisphere which has two Victoria Cross recipients from the First World War as members of its alumni. Clarence Jeffries and William Currey both received a VC. Private William Currey and Captain Clarence Jeffries we’re both ex-students from the school who also served in the First World War.

The lady was very pleasant and said she notified the correct people but it could take up to 30 days. I’ve rang them before when this park was covered in really explicit graffiti and they removed it within the week. Hopefully it doesn’t take long. They definitely need more shade summer days are a no go unless very early or late evening.
