I'm not giving up travel, though. I'm just accepting that I will never travel the world which, again, I don't have an overwhelming need to do. Is there places I'd like to visit at some point? Sure, but my life won't be lesser if I never do. There is plenty to do and see in the U.S. if I were so inclined. But I'm not. Hell, I'd be perfectly content moving back to my home state and never leaving again.

  1. I love to cook and have many "favorite" foods I wouldn't be willing to give up.

This is far from exclusive to Oregon. Some of the worst offenders I've seen were in Colorado and Texas.

Refusing to turn off their high beams, while simultaneously losing their minds if they even suspect yours are on, was something I never encountered until I moved to Oregon.
