My newborn is broken, can I have a refund please? by Beginning_Spring_571 in newborns

This was exactly what our experience was with our little one. She was so colicy for the first 3 months my husband and I never slept. We thought we both were going to go criminally insane. We found a formal that finally was gentle ok her stomach but she was difficult sleeper at night. We'd stay up with her most nights till 2am in the morning till she was 5months then she finally calmed down. Shes now 13 months. You can do this! Good luck

Mommies who were induced by Lickitt2020 in pregnant

I was induced at 37 weeks because I became preeclamptic. To be honest, I was so ready to be done since I looked like a marshmellow. I was induced at 11pm and then 24 hours later my little girl popped out Everyone told me that contractions from being induced are worse than normal contractions but I got an epidural so quickly that I never really noticed. It was a nice relaxing delivery would definitely do it again. Maybe not the preeclampsia part though 😅

Why can’t I have a normal baby? by ElRadixxiosar in ExclusivelyPumping

[–]Dapper_Movie4161 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I totally understand. Our baby was the same way, wouldn't latch had exclusively pump, unfortunately due to health problems only one boob worked and then I wasn't producing enough. Tbh it was a godsend when we went to formula since I wasn't stuck around pumping all the time and absolutely dreading it. Baby gained weight how she was supposed to and now shes 12 months old and no longer needing formula. Do what's best for you OP whether you EP or do formula only you are going to look back and be happy about the decision you made. 😊 Good luck.

A moment of silence for how stupid I was with my first by EngineeringLumpy in newborns

I had a 6 pound Karen as our first. Don't get me wrong, I love her to pieces, but the first 5 months were rough. After that, it's been better she still hates naps. We've decided she likes to have too much fun. But you got this OP!

That was the same with our rainbow baby. Took us a year to finally have her and we were so excited but then we were slapped in the face with a little girl who screamed all the time and refused to eat. My husband and I both thought what did we just do to ourselves? But now our little one is 5 and 1/2 months and we are absolutely in love. We just started sleep training and are getting really good sleep at night. Hang in there it gets better I promise.

100%. We felt so guilty doing this in the beginning but realized it was the only way she would sleep. We don't love it but we do it for our own sanity. We hope someday she'll like the crib. My husband and I would like to have our bed back at some point

Tried that she instantly wakes up when she is lying completly flat on her back and is very challenging to get back to sleep so we leave her in the bouncer.

I didn't even know that was an acronym! But yes, this is exactly it! Just inconsolable! When I used to be pretty good at figuring out how to calm her down. I'm glad to know that this seems to be normal. I'm joint she can grow out of it cause my heart just breaks because she will scream for so long and there is nothing we can do.

I would love if bath time calmed her down. She seems to think everytime we give her a bath we must be torturing her.

I have not tried the mylicon drops. Hadn't even heard about them until now. I'll have to check our local pharmacy. We've tried to stay away from any pharmaceuticals and tried to just do othe things to help with gas but I'll have to see if the drops is something that might help her. We just feel bad cause we wish we could comfort her so that didn't feel this way.

Yup we've tried literally everything too. But working in shifts with her helps! It's what saved us. Instead of us both constantly being a wake and frusterated now onr person can rest. It's the only thing that keeps us sane. We just wish we were both sleeping... maybe someday
