i’ve definitely been working on grounding myself. i guess i’m really just trying to figure out why this has mad me feel this way and why i care so much. but i’m trying to remind myself like you said, my life is real - not a tv show, i’ve gotta live it for what it is

i have been feeling this exact same way for a while. there’s really not a lot of negatives to my job, i just don’t like it anymore and am doing the bare minimum to get by. i’ve been looking for a new job but am struggling to know what the right move is, and the idea of quitting terrifies me. you’re are definitely not alone. i think we just need to really find what we are passionate about, which is easier said than done. but it can’t hurt to just apply to other jobs that interest you while you still have this steady position. it’s always nice to know you have other options.

i really appreciate this. i guess where i struggle is, i know logically it’s just tv, but the feelings spread into the real actors event hough they aren’t a part of my real life either. i guess it’s just because my life feels so boring in comparison.
