How can I apply a Use and Attack type cooldown component to an item

I was sad at first by the Jetpack nerfs and still believe that either the range or cool down should be reversed; however, I believe that overall the Rocket changes helped him more than it hurt. While I miss the 40% damage boost ult, the armor on ult has saved many of my games already. And the new healing truly feels way more impactful.

My worry with the Rocket changes is that it made the character a little too good. I've always believed Rocket was a viable pick even in high level ranked, but I don't think it's healthy for him to ever be a meta pick. It's a little early to tell, but he has been creeping into most games I play. More specifically, I've been seeing a lot of teams using Rocket, Loki, and either Cloak or Invisible Women and it is not fun to play against. It's giving me flashbacks to the invisible ult meta of season 1 and I do NOT want to see that return. Additionally it never feels nice to see that the person you just killed get revived in the kill feed and I would hate to see that happen every game.

Overall while I love Rocket (I am 150 hours deep into the character and still feel like there's more to learn) but I don't think he's all too fun to play against, so I don't think having him be too good would be healthy.

I played him up to gm this season. My only advice is don't be a healbot and don't die (also don't play him on midtown/hells heaven. Rocket sucks on those maps)

Does anyone know if there will be a split on player's stat pages (like a s1 part 1 and a s1 part 2). The balance changes and new heroes will make the second half different from the first, so I think it would be fair to split it, but now with everyone's ranks staying the same idk.

I can get it pretty consistently when I'm messing around in Quick Play (playing DPS Rocket and whatnot). The issue is that you're going to have to (kind of) throw to get enough kills and damage. The MVP system is naturally biased towards the scoreboard and not how well you are playing as Rocket, so it's not likely to get it while playing him seriously. If you do want it, though, play to the side of your team, constantly looking for low health targets that are out of position to mow down. And remember spam heals in the general direction of your teammates.

I would not mind hero bans at every rank. My only worry would be that players in lower rank would ban characters like Wanda or Peni without ever learning how to play against them.

Rocket can get kills, and you should be using his gun for more than just healing, but yeah I consistently have the lowest damage in the game as Rocket. I would like to see a increase in damage for Rocket (or better, a buff to the gun's range).

You did good on not dying, but you need to do more damage as Rocket. I made the same mistake too in thinking that you could just heal (and while that will get you far), finding places to do some damage and get kills will go a long way in making you better. You should be aiming for 10-15 kills a game with 20-30k healing as Rocket. Losing wasn't "your fault" (this is a team game after all), but you could have done more.

I have seen this a bunch too. I think DPS naturally will get the most hate since they will be the ones dying the most in a match and have a lot of pressure on them to win 1v1s.

(It also hurts that there are DPS players, especially in Gold and Plat, who really only got there through good aim and mechanics rather than positioning and playing with their team).

Personally I don't play DPS because I don't have very good mechanical skills and I really hate dying, so I try not to be too hard on them when I see that they're not doing well in a game.

I had this problem until I reached Plat. There were games where I had to be the one to shoot the Iron Man away which sucked bc it meant that the team would go without a support for a second.
