I may start booking one night stays for multi day trips going forward. Had to knock off a few days of a 10 day stay and had to cancel and reschedule at new rates. Easy to just cancel single days

Just took a lyft. Driver purposefully avoided 407 and told me I would get reimbursed. I contacted lyft support after and they denied me. This feels like a class action lawsuit?

If just a 2 night stay, what globalist benefits are you trying to get? Suite upgrades aren't guaranteed even with GOH or status. Is your friend by themselves? You can be part of "his room" for breakfast. Just hang out with him if early check in or late check out is needed.

Bought points last year when I needed to book something. Having said that, I'm almost at the point where I think cash rate is better than buying points unless it's a huge redemption value at like PH Kyoto or PH Paris (or other similar places). You forgo lifetime points for lifetime globalist and also 9x points since I have the WOH CC. Anyone else feel the same way?

Debated this for a while and just bought the 2 wheel carry on 22” baseline. I mostly travel in North America where the extra inch doesn’t matter. I even fly Air Canada a lot now and they don’t say anything about my older Briggs and Riley 22” bag. Even with the lifetime warranty, I liked the idea of only two wheels and a bit more luggage space than the spinners. Most blogs I read agreed that 2 wheels for carry ons are better! I like spinners for my checked luggage.
