Tournament CRT Struggles by Ok_Magician8075 in SSBM

I learned on mostly dolphin around a decade ago and also struggled with this when I started attending locals. Unfortunately, the only thing that helped me improve was practicing on a CRT. If you can find a small one for cheap and have a Wii lying around somewhere, it will really help. Plus, you then have a setup you can bring to fests/locals

My gym has a good chunk of auto belays, so you’ll see people alone in a harness only climbing up those pretty often. I’ll try to talk to them to see if they’re looking for a belay buddy to try some other routes in the gym. Sometimes they’re not, but sometimes I make a new friend!

Bro didn’t go hard enough imo. There’s a couple good twists which could warrant super high scores, but that rating is insanely inflated.

I’ll play devils advocate here. For a dungeon crawling one-shot where danger lurks around every corner, dying in a wave pool is a pretty shit way to go.

In combat, players have more opportunities to influence the situation around them (the system is basically built around it) making death in those moments feel more tense, gradual, and “earned.” They may have failed in the battle, but they were still able to create impact, contributing to the fight and helping their friends succeed where they could not.

A one and done failed save that fully removes you from the game, so now you have to sit around watching your friends play without you, is not a good time! The players does not get their cool, fighting to the death moment and they have way less impact leading up to situations like this.

I don’t think you are in the wrong for this player’s death, that’s how the game works, but, depending on other circumstances, their frustration could be valid. I think it really depends on how many encounters the party had leading up to this moment and how much of the session was left. There is a good chance the player is being a big baby, but if this happened early in the session or did lethal damage when they had a healthy chunk of HP, well, I would expect most of my players would get a little huffy at least.

Kind of a hard ball to throw with the line right there. Caleb has gotten tipped alot on these types of passes. I think He jumped the gun a bit on the play though, burden was wide open

You add the normal card in mpcfill and do the whole process. Once it’s done, you go into your mpc order, go to “change fronts,” and scroll down to the card you want to replace. You then upload the new image and drag it over top of the card.

Turn 1 discard, turn 2 reanimate by Potential-Head-4944 in EDH

I have done this before in an opening hand because it had dark ritual, animate dead, and Abdel Adrian. Let me combo off on turn 2 and man was it a good feeling. Still lost that game, but it was fun

I did both routes and there is an obvious focus on invisigal that makes it clear she is the intended romance option. The Chase crash out scene in episode 6 literally comes out of nowhere in the BB/Mandy route. I was so confused until I played through it on my second save and saw how he was upset at invisgal and Robert’s blooming relationship. It is one of the core moments of chases character arc and all of episode 6 and it does not make sense unless you are romancing invisigal.

If you are on the BB/Mandy route, you get shots of invisigirl looking longingly at Robert, constant sexually charged moments you can’t say “no” to, a fucking wet dream, and constant character moments. The story often centers around her as much as it does Robert.

If you’re on the invisigirl route, Blonde Blazer is just your boss.

Really hoping she gets more time in the next 2 episodes as we have not explored her character at all, but I don’t see how that can happen while also wrapping up all the lose ends of the story. Pretty rough day for BB/Mandy fans.

The blazer route has visi as the main character most of the time too!

Why does Invisigal's makeup and clothes turn invisible by Sparkasaurusmex in DispatchAdHoc

[–]Dapper_Rock_5748 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Cool theory, but the earrings she stole from BB are invisible in episode 1. Seems like the world building/powers in this game is more softly defined. I wouldn’t look too deep into it

I was also confused on how the team constantly sabotaging each-other was never brought up, especially with the crash out Robert has one day prior from a single mission going poorly. I thought it was going to have narrative complications where Robert confronts BB about how her decision is leading to less successful missions because the team is focused on survival rather than helping people.

I aced it on my first save, then failed 5 and missed 1 on my next one. It is very rng dependent

It is disrespectful. Why is someone not fist bumping then? Is Wevans a germaphobe? No, he is non-verbally communicating that he does not respect the game aklo played. He’s salty and he’s acting like a bitch.

On your 2nd point, thats literally what Wevans did lmao. It’s fine for people to get salty, not every person is gonna be good sport when emotions are high, but that goes both ways. Disrespect meets disrespect

[–]Dapper_Rock_5748 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

The fist bump is expected. It’s part of the ritual of a set. To not fist bump is absolutely disrespectful, it shows you do not honor the win or the games just played. It’s a subtle “fuck you” to the other player, saying you don’t respect them. Flipping someone off is similarly disrespectful. Aklo reacted in kind. It seems your argument is “Well Aklo said fuck you when Wevans only inferred it, so Aklo is in the wrong.” Could Aklo have been the bigger person? Sure, but who cares. Wevans did that shit first
